There are a lot of DC projects over at Warner Bros. that don’t seem to be able to catch a break, but one of the most beleaguered (pun definitely intended) is Justice League Dark. The supernatural-themed superhero movie has traded hands with at least two directors so far, with both of them eventually passing on the pic.
While we did get an animated effort based on the team, fans are still eager to see what DC’s occult heroes would be like in live-action. While there’s no word on the film getting off the ground soon, some concept art from the 2015 version of the movie, that would have been helmed by Guillermo del Toro, has now arrived online, giving us a look at what could’ve been.
Justin Fields, of Ironklad Studios, has shared these designs for the Justice League Dark’s six team members – namely, John Constantine,...

Get a look at what Guillermo del Toro's Justice League Dark movie might have looked like.
The Justice League Dark movie has had a long and tortured road, and there's no end in sight. This is a project which would focus on the magical and monstrous corners of the Dceu, featuring characters like Swamp Thing, John Constantine, and others, and it has been in development at Warner Bros for something on the order of five years. For much of that time, Guillermo del Toro was in charge of development, with an eye on directing.
But as with many of Warner Bros' DC superhero movies, nothing has been easy when it comes to Justice League Dark. For one thing, it was once known as Dark Universe, but Universal came along and snatched that name up for their (now apparently dead) shared cinematic universe of action/horror flicks...

Us-based Aquamen Entertainment and Pigmental Studios are teaming with Chinese and Korean partners on $40m 3D animated feature Kong.
The project aims to give a sci-fi twist to the Chinese classic Journey To The West. It will go back to the origins of the main character, Sun Wukong (aka the Monkey King), who gets caught in the power struggle between two alien civilisations.
Aquamen is also collaborating with the China Cultural Chamber of Commerce, a trade organisation for the private sector, on the project. The organisation’s chairman Robin Li, also chairman of internet giant Baidu, is talking to the producers about boarding the project.
The producers are also in talks with a major Chinese investor to finance the film, which will be set up as a Us-Chinese-Korean co-production and use Chinese and Korean animators and other talent. They are also in talks with a Hollywood director to be announced soon.

Here's a stunning piece of concept art for Iron Man 3 that was created by Justin Goby Fields for end title production team. I've also included a new TV spot, proclaiming that Iron Man 3 is the number one movie in the world, and guess what... it is. The movie has made over $678 million world wide so far, so congrats to Marvel and everyone involved with the movie on that accomplishment. If you haven't seen the movie for yourself yet, make sure to check it out!
