“Emily in Paris” Season 5? Not so fast.
During the amfAR Gala at the Cannes Film Festival, which raises money for research to end HIV and AIDS, Winnie Harlow and Paris Jackson appeared onstage to auction off a walk-on role in a previously unannounced fifth season of the Netflix series. The winner of the auction shelled out €250,000 to appear in the series as well as the chance to attend the Season 4 premiere in Los Angeles. Harlow and Jackson also said that Season 5 of the popular series is scheduled to begin shooting in mid 2025.
However, an individual with knowledge of the situation says that Netflix has not in fact greenlit another season of “Emily in Paris.” According to the official amfAR auction website, the walk-on role came “Courtesy of Darren Star,” the creator of the series. The website was recently updated to state that the winning bid “will have the opportunity to...

As we await the long-gestating “Community” movie, co-stars Joel McHale and Ken Jeong are back together again on Wednesday’s new episode of McHale’s Fox comedy “Animal Control.” It also marks the return of “Kensday,” as “Animal Control” airs right after “The Masked Singer,” in which Jeong is a panelist (and McHale has been a frequent guest over the seasons).
Variety has a first look at the duo in action from tonight’s episode, as Ken Jeong guest stars as Roman Park, “a reputable (and unhinged) dog trainer.” In the story, Emily (played by Vella Lovell) hires Park to help with the kennel dogs at the precinct, but he disrupts the office dynamics and competes with McHale’s character, Frank, for the role of “Alpha.”

Exclusive: Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!), Chelsea Frei (The Moodys), and Larry Joe Campbell (The Orville) have been set for guest star roles in the forthcoming second season of Fox’s popular workplace comedy Animal Control, starring Joel McHale.
Others set to appear in S2 guest roles, as previously announced, include Ken Jeong, Sarah Chalke, and Krystal Smith.
Premiering last February, the show created by Bob Fisher, Rob Greenberg and Dan Sterling follows a group of local Animal Control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not. McHale plays Frank, an opinionated, eccentric Animal Control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most well-read person in the room. A former cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, which may explain why he’s so cynical and curmudgeonly. He has an almost superhuman ability to understand animals.

Exclusive: Fox Entertainment has given an early Season 3 pickup to its workplace comedy Animal Control a month before the single-camera series starring Joel McHale is set to premiere its second season on March 6, paired with Family Guy.

Real-life married couple Mandy Patinkin (Homeland) and Kathryn Grody (The Lemon Sisters) will star in the Seasoned pilot for Showtime. Seasoned will be a half-hour comedy following “the delightfully tumultuous relationship and life of a successful, gregarious, deeply committed, slightly insane married couple played by Patinkin and Grody — roles they’ve been rehearsing for the last 43 years,” the logline describes, per Deadline. “The source of their unending magic is the same as their unending woe: that they’ve stayed together all this time.” The series is created by Ewen Wright and Grody-Patinkin. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on physical production spaces and how the needs of production real estate might be changed forever will be the subject of a panel discussion on Friday hosted by the Agency for the Performing Arts, the Broadcast Management Group and production services company GreenlightGo.
“What Happens Next: The Future of Production Space” will address topics that include the impact of Covid-19 on square-footage needs, ventilation requirements, technical infrastructure and cleaning protocols at physical production facilities; who is responsible for Sfae Way Forward protocols at facilities, production companies and networks; current insights from producers who are back on set and resuming production; how productions have rebounded at scale with regard to space; and how lower budget, independently financed productions function under the new Covid-19 protocols.
You can watch the one-hour panel below, starting at 9:30 a.m. Pt Friday.

For nearly a decade now, Nev Schulman, and the MTV series Catfish, have helped dozens of hopefuls figure out if the person they’ve been talking to online is really who they say they are. So he was the perfect person for TikToker Jake Fuller to reach out to when he wanted to get the low down on Taylor, a woman he’d met on Instagram. Like almost everyone else who appears on the show, Jake claimed to have developed romantic feelings for Taylor even though the two had never met in person or video chatted. As the story began to unfold,

Note to self: be careful who you pray with.
On From Dusk Till Dawn Season 3 Episode 1 and From Dusk Till Dawn Season 3 Episode 2, Seth and Richie find themselves facing monsters from Xibalba (hell), and one of them might just be Kate.
First off, I like that we are exploring the ramifications of the Twister exploding.
The Twister was used for a lot of things. It wasn't just a feeding ground, and it's great that Carlos' actions had unexpected consequences. Mixing things up is always fun.
Los hermanos Geckos are pretty well versed in culebras by now. Richie has picked up a few tools of the trade. Freddie has even accepted his role as peacekeeper, and he's pretty good at it.
When everyone is comfortable and settled in, that's exactly when you need to throw a curve ball. Thankfully, that's just what happened.

The fallacy of escape is thinking it’s possible to truly leave the past behind. You can travel thousands of miles away and put years in between, but the stuff forcing you to do so never disappears. It marks you and shapes you whether you like or not, for better or worse. Ignoring to forget is just another way of letting it affect you because it remains the catalyst for where you are today. It caused you to pack up; it caused you to move forward without looking back no matter how difficult or scary doing so ultimately proved. We don’t know why Colby (Stephanie Brait) left home to travel the country as a drifter, hustling and lying her way into beds and money. We only know her pain.
