The Weinstein Company has released a new international poster for Paul Thomas Anderson‘s The Master. The film, which hits theaters beginning September 21st, 2012 follows Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Lancaster Dodd, a charismatic leader who establishes a new religion in the 1950s. Joaquin Phoenix plays one of Dodd’s closest disciples, an alcoholic drifter named Freddie Sutton.
The film also stars Price Carson, Mike Howard, Sarah Shoshana David, Bruce Goodchild, Matt Hering, Dan Anderson, Andrew Koponen. Paul Thomas Anderson also works to pen the screenplay.
