- Maggie returned to acting following careers in NY where she modeled and appeared in commercials. She changed direction, studying Nursing at CCNY and became an RN. She began her UCLA chapter in the CCU, later achieving her Masters' Degree and becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Lecturer and Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing. She joined the Air Force Reserve, attended Flight School, becoming a USAF Flight Nurse, later an Admin Nurse in the Air Force Surgeon General's office in Washington. She is an Air War College graduate. Her career pivoted again when MGM Television cast her in :Group One Medical", a reality series which ran 120 episodes on NBC stations. Maggie is a Second City Conservatory Grad and has learned from many well-respected teachers, most recently in Gordon Hunt's Workshop with Richard Gilbert-Hill and Helen Hunt. During Covid, Maggie has enjoyed a very short commute at home to Zoom classes with Allan Miller and Richard Fancy, plus several SAG-AFTRA workshops, as well as taking advantage of online learning opportunities in the fields of production and acting across the US and around the world. Movie and TV credits include "Chasing the Sun", "Chromo 46", and "Ava: A Twist in the Road". She's appeared in LA theatre productions, most recently David Rabe's "Good for Otto", directed by Jeannie Hackett, previously in Jon Klein's "Resolving Hedda" directed by Gail Bryson. She serves on the SAG-AFTRA Military Committee and is a member of the California Heart Foundation's Continuing Medical Education Board.
