Bill Rogers(XXII)
Bill did his undergraduate degree at Trinity College, University of Toronto, in music and philosophy, and his law degree at Queen's, where he won several academic prizes. He is a musician, stand-up comedian, and award-winning journalist published in The Lawyers Weekly, National Post, and The Globe and Mail. In 2014 he won a major family law victory at the Ontario Court of Appeal (McConnell v. Huxtable) and thereby prevented the imposition of a new, and unfair, two-year deadline on property claims by common-law partners. He is the leader of the band Soul Custody, who have played numerous Family Lawyers' Association of Ontario parties.
