Kara Joy "KJ" Aills, was born May 18, 1988 in Indianapolis, IN. She was adopted at two days old by a Pastor and an Elementary School Teacher.
Since the age of two, she has been involved in church plays, school plays, and singing; though she preferred to be behind the scenes and handle the sound, PowerPoint presentations, and filming. She grew up watching TV Shows and films; though her passion for film started when she went to the theater for the first time when she was seven years old and watched Indian in the Cupboard.
She wrote her first feature-length script, "Model Mob", now known as "Model Lens," when she was eight, and first published in a Young Adult poetry anthology at twelve. Since then her available scripts has grown.
KJ Aills holds a Bachelor's in Mass Communications focusing in TV Production (2010) and a Master of Fine Art in Motion Pictures and Television (2014), focusing in Production. She has been working Film/Television Freelance since 2007; mostly as a Producer, Director, Scriptwriter, Assistant to all departments, and Cinematographer.
