Alessandra "Sandy" Masciarelli was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
She moved to Denton, TX when she was eight years old. She was in her
first play at McMath Middle School in 6th grade. She was an ensemble
member in the musical "Once on This Island." Her love of theatre grew
throughout middle school and high school. She acted in numerous plays
in those years but most notable was her role in John Logan's "Never the
Sinner." She and her high school made it to the International Thespian
Festival and performed at the Lied Center in front of over 2,000
people. Sandy attended University of Southern California to pursue a
degree in theatre. At USC, she was in a number of plays including many
for the Women's Theatre Organization and a number of student films. She
also was a featured extra on "How I Met Your Mother" in Season 5.
