Ivan Bart, the former president of Img Models who helped launch the modeling careers of the likes of Lauren Hutton, Carolyn Murphy, Stephanie Seymour and Gigi and Bella Hadid, died over the weekend following a short illness. He was 60.
The news was posted on his official Instagram account with a black-and-white photo of Bart. A caption on the photo reads, “Our world has lost one of the greats. Ivan Bart, 1963-2023.” No other details were immediately available.
He was named president of the agency in 2014, after it merged with WME. Under Bart’s leadership, Img Models also built the careers of Hailey Bieber, Alton Mason, Wisdom Kaye and others.
Throughout his career, Bart championed diverse casting and inclusion and is credited with breaking down barriers for models including Alek Wek, Hari Nef, Precious Lee, Zach Miko, Quannah Chasinghorse and Paloma Elsesser.

Rihanna is enjoying her motherhood. The singer, who recently released her new song ‘Lift Me Up’ from the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ soundtrack, spoke about her six-month-old son, whom she welcomed with boyfriend Aap Rocky in May, reports ‘People’ magazine.
“He is funny, he’s happy — and he’s fat!” she told ‘People’ as she laughed. “He’s amazing. It’s a real cuddly stage right now.”
According to ‘People’, in her upcoming fashion show ‘Savage X Fenty’ Volume 4, the ‘Diamonds’ superstar said she has featured in the “Mother Nature section.”

In a move that likely won’t result in any backlash whatsoever, Rihanna has recruited Johnny Depp to appear in her upcoming Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4, Rolling Stone has confirmed.

On top of the musical performances, the fashion show will feature a stacked lineup that includes everyone from Marvel stars Simu Liu and Winston Duke to revered actors Taraji P.
