Melbourne, Dec. 17: Inspired by the demise of her 10-year marriage, author Natalie Young has written a macabre novel, where a fifty something housewife kills and eats her husband after getting bored of their 30-year marriage.
In the novel, titled 'Season to Taste', Lizzie cuts her husband and father of her two children in 16 pieces and stores them in the freezer before cooking and eating.
Young, 37, told a UK publication that the book was a way of unconsciously depicting an extreme aspect of that very traumatic experience, her divorce, News.com.au reported.
The book was a way of exploring the extreme repercussion of separation and divorce, asserted.
She said that people love the novel because it is so real.
