Avengers: Endgame has a lot to cram into its runtime. It’s essentially the finale to the last decade-plus of McU storytelling, finishing the tale that began way back in Captain America: The First Avenger when we first saw the Tesseract. Plus, each one of its gargantuan cast of characters deserves their own moment in the spotlight and nobody wants to see, say, the Guardians of the Galaxy being short-changed. That’s why the announcement that Endgame is set to be three hours long wasn’t exactly a big surprise.

For Michael Bay, working on his reportedly low-budget passion project is a dream come true. Now with the movie scheduled to shoot in Miami later this month, the script written by Stephen Markus and Christopher McFeely is about to get polished. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scott Rosenberg has been hired to ignite the script originally written my Markus and McFeely.
For those that don’t know, Pain and Gain is black comedy film based on a 2000 Miami New Times article written by Pete Collins. The movie follows two Florida bodybuilders involved in a kidnapping scheme horribly gone wrong. Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson will play as the two body builders and they are joined by Ed Harris, Rob Corddry, Anthony Mackie, Tony Shaloub and Bar Paly.
