Alexander J. Robinson
- Writer
- Camera and Electrical Department
- Producer
Alexander J. Robinson grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts, and graduated
Cum Laude from Wheaton College (Norton, Massachusetts) in 2009. Due to
the fact that Wheaton College did not offer any sort of film major,
Alexander took it upon himself to create his own Independent Film
Major, entitled "Film Production in Practice and Cultural Narrative."
Since graduation, Alexander worked as a Production Assistant on
multiple independent films, spending the majority of his time writing
feature length screenplays, short scripts, and researching and buying
professional camera equipment. After procuring a camera, a tripod, and
one shotgun microphone, Alexander began his endeavors as an independent
filmmaker; writing, directing, producing, and editing "Holdup," along
with a handful of other short films. Having spent all of his money on
his camera equipment, Alexander learned quickly to produce, organize,
and direct his original screenplays with unpaid actors and little or no
crew.
