British actor Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film franchise, credited his co-star and longtime friend Emma Watson with encouraging him to write about his struggles with alcoholism and multiple stints in rehab in his new memoir.
In Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard, Felton says he began drinking more heavily after he moved to Los Angeles, “craving normality” in the thick of Hollywood. It took Felton several tries to get sober, and he says his first stint in rehab didn’t last long,...

Tom Felton Reveals Mental Health Struggles, Multiple Secret Rehab Stints In Memoir ‘Beyond The Wand’
An unknown side to the actor who played Draco Malfoy. “Harry Potter” star Tom Felton is opening up like never before in his new memoir, Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard.
While the 35-year-old British actor certainly gives his readers what they want and presumably expect with plenty of “Potter” tidbits and set secrets and lots of details on his more-than-friends relationship with co-star Emma Watson, Felton also makes some shocking revelations toward the end of his book.
He speaks about moving to Los Angeles and getting overwhelmed by a more glamorous, movie-star lifestyle. In searching for a bit of normality reminiscent of his upbringing, Felton writes that in his mid-to-late twenties, he “spent more hours, more nights, than I care to remember” at a Los Angeles dive bar called Barney’s Beanery.

Tom Felton looks different. It may seem like a cliché to point that out, but it’s the first thought I have as we shake hands inside a sparsely filled canalside pub in King’s Cross, north London. The man that sits before me couldn’t be further from Draco Malfoy. Long gone is the bleached blond hairdo, the snide Slytherin glint in his eye. He wears a white woollen cardigan, and sits drinking tea; before we speak, he politely explains that he has to first make a phone call to his mother. Some villain.
Felton is here because he has written a memoir, Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard. It’s been 11 years since the final Harry Potter film, The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and more than two decades since he was first cast as the flaxen-haired Draco. Despite a memorable role in 2011’s...

James Franco hugged his costar Freida Pinto as he arrived at last night's La premiere of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. James flew back to California from Detroit, where he's currently shooting Oz: The Great and Powerful, for the debut of the science-fiction film. James announced his split from Ahna O'Reilly, his girlfriend of five years, in a new interview with Playboy. Freida, his onscreen leading lady, looked stunning in an electric green Juan Carlos Obando gown and Brian Atwood pumps. She was without her longtime boyfriend, Dev Patel, on the red carpet, but Tom Felton had two of his loved ones on hand to support his latest film - his girlfriend, Jade Gordon, and his Harry Potter costar Rupert Grint. Rupert even arrived to...

Daniel and Rupert suited up in a tuxedo, while Emma walked down the red carpet in a beautiful Oscar de la Renta sand tulle sleeveless gown with embroidered bodice and full skirt. At one point, she wore a white crepe jacket with an open front and padded shoulders on top of the strapless gown. The three actors took time to pose together for the awaiting fans and photographers with Emma being sandwiched between the two guys.

Back in my younger, dating days, I had some general rules. Don.t mention marriage to a girl if she is only your girlfriend. Don.t joke about marriage to a girl if she is only your girlfriend. And finally, definitely don.t pretend to be married to someone who is only your girlfriend. Apparently, Tom Felton and I live by different sets of rules. **Spoiler alert** According to MTV Movie Blog, Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movie series has brought on his real life girlfriend, Jade Gordon, to play Draco.s wife in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. They just finished shooting a scene that appears near the end of the movie where the characters in the Harry Potter world have grown up, gotten married and had kids of their own. Having not read the final Harry Potter book, I.m going to take a cue from Katey and brand this article with a major Spoiler Alter. Now that that.s settled, remember those Harry Potter set photos revealing a wrinkly Ginny and Harry bringing their children to Platform 9 ¾ to begin their journey at Hogwarts? Well, there.s more! Snitch Seeker has the latest batch and not only do they provide another look at Harry all grown up, but Hermione, Ron and Draco as well. Apparently the make-up artist has a thing for receding hairlines when it comes to the guys because Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton all seem to have foreheads that doubled in size. Poor Felton gets the worst of it; he just can.t rock the blond locks like his father (Jason Isaacs). His old age does come with one benefit, Jade Gordon, the actress Snitch...
