Jae Matthews is an American singer and a member of the Boy Harsher band. She went to film school in Savannah, Georgia, where she met with Augustus Muller. They started the project Teen Dreamz, which renamed into Boy Harsher next year, and they released its home-recorded debut EP, Lesser Man. Relocating to Northampton, Massachusetts, Boy Harsher recorded and released its debut album, Yr Body Is Nothing on DKA Records. After the release of Country Girl EP, the band formed their Nude Club imprint, re-issuing their catalog. They also released their directorial debut film "The Runner" with an accompanying soundtrack.
