It was the worst of times, it was the best of times for “Project Runway All Stars” contestant Anthony Ryan Auld. In the season seven premiere he struggled with the recent loss of his grandmother and produced a slapdash look that nearly got him eliminated right out of the gate. But he made an epic comeback in the second week of competition. What did you think of his performance in “Top of the Class“? Was it grade-a for you like it was for the judges?
Luckily for Auld there was no elimination in the season premiere, so while he and Anya Ayoung-Chee finished as the bottom two, they both lived to design another day. But the second challenge got off to a rough start for Auld too. The contestants were tasked with creating a graduation party look in two colors. The designers didn’t get to choose their colors, though.

After throwing two more designers into the fray last week, Project Runway All Stars finally began to thin the herd on Wednesday, resulting in the season’s first dramatic elimination.
This week’s challenge was to design a sophisticated-yet-appropriate dress for a spring or summer graduation party, with each designer receiving a tassel which dictated their color schemes, whether they liked it or not. (Most did not.)
Generally speaking, newcomers Juli Grbac (winner of Project Runway Australia Season 1) and Sean Kelly (winner of Project Runway Season 13) fit seamlessly into the workroom — minus a brief moment where Dmitry threatened to literally...

“Project Runway All Stars” started its seventh and final season on Lifetime last week, and it was a rare reality competition episode that ended with more contestants than it started with. It began with 12 designers, but no one was eliminated at the end of the first challenge. Instead, two more “Runway” alums were added to the lineup. What surprise twists were in store for the contestants in week two? Scroll down for our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.
This season of “All Stars” is a unique “Champions” edition in which all of the contestants are past winners of “Runway,” “All Stars” or one of the show’s various international spin-offs. Representing America are Anthony Ryan (“All Stars” season two winner), Anya Ayoung-Chee (“Runway” season nine), Dmitry Sholokhov (“Runway” season 10 and “All Stars” season four), Irina Shabayeva (“Runway” season six), Michelle Lesniak (“Runway” season 11), and Seth Aaron Henderson...

“Project Runway All Stars” season seven began last Wednesday, January 2, and Dmitry Sholokhov got off to a good start, winning the first challenge: designing a look inspired by the contestants’ home countries. Is he well on his way to winning the whole competition? He competed in two previous seasons of “Runway,” winning both times.
Of course, this is a “Champions” edition of “All Stars,” in which all 14 contestants have won a previous season of “Project Runway” here and around the world, but Sholokhov is one of only two contestants in this year’s lineup who has won twice: he prevailed in season 10 of the original “Project Runway” series, and again in season 4 of “All Stars.” So it might seem like par for the course for him to win a design challenge, but this is actually his earliest success in his entire history on the show.

Storage Hunters UK is about to get a dose of American pride this week as Jesse McClure shows up to ruffle some feathers.
One of the original stars of the Us series reunites with auctioneer Sean Kelly on Tuesday (June 6) and instantly starts plotting to get in his rivals' heads.
McClure will appear in an episode taking place in Preston, following fellow Us star T-Money's recent appearance on the show.
Last year, McClure told Digital Spy that he would love to see and star in a UK version of Storage Hunters.
He said: "I think the idea of having a Us and UK intermixed, so you have Brits and Americans going at each other, it would add even more because you have that pride for your country, that pride about where you come from and the pride of, 'I know more than you do', so it's going to amp it up even more so.

Storage Hunters UK Sean Kelly: 'One of the things I like about the UK is getting away from Brandori'
A UK version of addictive reality show Storage Hunters seemed like a pretty safe bet for Dave - and it turned out to be, with the first series becoming the highest-rated show on the channel last year. So it's no surprise that it's back for a second series!
Part of the show's success is, of course, down to auctioneer Sean Kelly - a stand-up comedian with an utterly mesmerising calling style. We got Sean on the phone to chat Us stars coming onto the UK show, why we can expect some big arguments and whether the Us show will ever be rebooted...

T-Money tries his luck against some of Hampshire's bargain hunters when he appears on Storage Hunters UK.
The star of the Us series has his eyes on a storage locker that appears to contain a selection of old arcade games.
"Looks like my kind of bin right here," T-Money explains. "Arcade games - you can flip these over anywhere."
However, the star seems to have some British competition as others have a close look at the items.
Storage Hunters UK is returning to Dave for a second series this summer, with host Sean Kelly also remaining on the show.
The reality auction programme will premiere on Tuesday, June 2 at 8pm, and has already been renewed for a third series.

Storage Hunters UK has been renewed for two more series by Dave.
The reality programme - which launched last year - became one of the channel's highest rated shows ever and will return for ten new episodes this summer followed by a further ten later in the year.
Auctioneer Sean Kelly will be back to guide the hungry buyers through various storage containers, but will they be buying treasures or tat?
"There was an element of risk in bringing a format that was so well-loved by the Dave audience to our shores," Dave's Steve North said.
"But injecting Dave's personality into a format that blends jeopardy, tension and laugh out loud moments has resonated with our audience and I'm very pleased we are able to bring them more of what they love."

Storage Hunters has been given a musical makeover, with an autotune remix single set for release.
To celebrate the arrival of the popular Us series in the UK, host channel Dave and British music producer Alex Ross have teamed up to release 'Storage Hunters (The Auction Remix)'.
Ross created the track by mashing up vocal snippets from the UK and Us editions of the show with an underlying disco track, with presenter Sean Kelly unwittingly lending vocals.
Ross previously created 'The Nick Clegg Apology Song: I'm Sorry', which became a viral hit and entered the UK singles chart in September 2012.
Ross, who watched over 27 hours of Storage Hunters to create the track, said: "I'm a huge fan of the show. As soon as Dave briefed me, I knew I was in for a binge session of Storage Hunters so immediately agreed!

"Brap-pa-dap-ba-dap-ba-dap! All in, fair warned! Sold your way for $2,000!"
If that phrase means anything to you, then you're likely a huge fan of Storage Hunters, Dave's biggest hit from across the Atlantic. It's now coming back for a UK spinoff, with auctioneer and comedian Sean Kelly keeping things under control once again.
Ahead of the brand new series, Digital Spy sat down with Kelly about how the show is different from its predecessor. Here's what we found out:
Sean was amazed at the UK's love for Storage Hunters
"A comedian friend of mine, George Lopez, he and I were doing a charity fundraiser together and he's like, 'Dude you should get on Twitter'. He had to explain to me how it works and so I sent out like two tweets and all of a sudden I started getting thousands of followers in the UK and I'm like, 'What is this?...

Storage Hunters star Sean Kelly has revealed that the show may not return for a fourth season.
The auctioneer - who will star in the upcoming UK version on Dave - told Digital Spy that the original show has yet to be picked up.
"The last time we got done filming was August 2013 and it hasn't been picked up in the Us," he said. "Not because the show wasn't doing well, but TruTV got a new president, and they decided that if they have two shows of a certain genre, they would let one of them go.
'They had Storage Hunters and they had Container Wars, which was a spin-off from Storage Hunters. It was what we did in one of our second season episodes, I did an auction down at the shipping ports with the shipping containers and the network liked it so much they decided to make a show just about that.

Dave has unveiled a first-look at new series Storage Hunters UK.
Sean Kelly - auctioneer and host of the original Us Storage Hunters - will also host the ten-part UK version.
Based on TruTV's Us reality hit, Storage Hunters UK focuses on Kelly's sale of storage auctions and the high-pressure bidding that results.
In the first-look clip - unveiled today (September 4) at the UKTV Live event - tensions are high and tempers are frayed as the UK participants compete and exchange insults.
"The Us version of Storage Hunters is currently UKTV's highest rating programme on Dave, consistently attracting nearly one million viewers and regularly securing the top slot on Dave on Demand," said Catherine Catton, UKTV's senior commissioning editor.
"Put simply, our viewers love it and we are delighted to be able to bring such a successful brand to the channel and put Dave's own unique stamp on it."

During our chat, Jesse warned us to never mention the "B word", referring to his fellow hunters Brandon and Lori Bernier, making it known that their on-screen rivalry is very much real.
Since then, Team Brandori got in touch with Digital Spy to give their no-holds-barred side of the story, and spill the beans on life on the show and what they truly think of their rivals.

Storage Hunters has quickly grown into one of the UK's biggest guilty pleasures on TV right now.
Chances are, at some point you have tuned in to Dave and caught a group of American auctioneers fighting (sometimes literally) it out to win storage containers, or 'bins', that have missed payments.
The TruTV series has become one of Dave's biggest shows with some impressive ratings. With its fourth season coming to a close tonight (May 6), Digital Spy had a chat with one of the programme's biggest stars, Jesse McClure, about rivalries, the future of Storage Hunters, and possible UK spinoffs.

"It's great. It's super fast-paced, I'm doing a million things at once but it's been amazing. It really truly has been amazing. Everyone here is so warm and welcoming and I couldn't ask for anything better. Transportation...

Dave has become one of the surprise digital channels to achieve some pretty decent ratings over the past few years, thanks to the combined use of original programming (Red Dwarf, Argumental), repeats of much-loved shows (Top Gear, Qi) and the acquisition of shows from across the pond which haven't yet reached mainstream status here (Man Vs Food).
One such show from the latter group is one of the least authentic and most fake shows you will ever see, and comes under the umbrella of 'trashy reality' programmes that the Us are very good at. Yet, somehow, it is strangely addictive and enjoyable, and has clearly become a big guilty pleasure of many UK viewers.
New episodes regularly beat shows on Channel 4, ITV2 and E4, at just under a million viewers. For a Us show with hardly any promotion on a channel like Dave, that is pretty damn good numbers.
