Boy is about to meet Doc, as it has been announced that a documentary on the popular series Boy Meets World could be headed our way. But before you get too excited about revisiting Cory, Topanga and Shawn, those behind the project aren’t even sure if and when it will come out.
Appearing at 90s Con, Pod Meets World hosts Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence), Will Friedle (Eric Matthews) and Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) unveiled that a crew is indeed working on a documentary about Boy Meets World, compiling what little behind-the-scenes footage there is and interviewing fans. As Fishel put it, “We aren’t even sure if it’s ever gonna go anywhere or not. We’re not necessarily intending on doing anything with it…It really kicked into high gear last year when we started the podcast and we started doing some live shows.”

Boy Meets World ran for seven seasons and followed Cory Matthews and his pals through the most tumultuous years of their childhood. By the time the series ended, Cory and his friends had grown up. Over the years, several teachers played key roles in the lives of Cory and his young pals. Some stayed on the show for all seven seasons, like Mr. Feeny. Others inexplicably disappeared. Mr. Turner, a teacher who took Shawn Hunter under his wing, played an important part in Shawn and Cory’s life until he suddenly vanished. Decades later, Anthony Tyler Quinn, the actor who took on the role, explained why his character just stopped existing in Shawn and Cory’s world.

Maci Bookout can finally rest easy knowing that her ex Ryan Edwards can't come anywhere near her or her family. On May 21, E! reported that Maci and her husband Taylor McKinney were granted a two-year restraining order against her ex, after revealing that he had theatened violence against them and allegedly abused drugs. Ryan and Maci came face-to-face at the hearing, and a Hamilton County Circuit Court Public Information Officer explained that "The judge dismissed the ex parte order of protection and then entered a mutual restraining order." So for the record, Maci and Taylor can't go near him either. While Maci's two younger children are included in her restraining order, her son with Ryan, Bentley, is not. That means that Ryan can still see him, but it's unclear how they'll do drop-offs and pick-ups when they can't come in contact with each other. "We did agree to a restraining...

When I think of "Boy Meets World," I usually don't think of Jules Winnfield. But "The Tonight Show" forever changed the way my brain works last night by having Samuel L. Jackson -- yes, the Samuel L. Jackson who notices if you confuse him for Laurence Fishburne -- recite some Gwendolyn Brooks-style slam poetry about Cory, Shawn Hunter, and Topanga. It is pretty stirring. And Jackson looks pretty amazing. Feeny approves. (P.S. Did anyone else feel a slight twinge of embarrassment watching this? Because there's no way Slj actually watched "Boy Meets World," right? It was a pretty B- series. Wouldn't want to burden Slj with the particulars about Jonathan Turner's bike accident.) ...

It’s a question that’s plagued Boy Meets World fans for decades: What ever happened to Jonathan Turner?
For those unfamiliar with the saga, a recap: Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) was Shawn (Rider Strong), Topanga (Danielle Fishel), and Cory’s (Ben Savage) motorcycle-riding homeroom teacher at John Adams High. A reluctant but effective authority figure, Turner had a reputation for being part friend, part mentor to his students, but he became much more than that during the latter part of the second season when he became Shawn’s legal guardian and invited Shawn to live with him.

Good news, ‘Boy Meets World’ fans! The actress behind ‘Girl Meets World’s’ resident troublemaker dished to HollywoodLife.com Exclusively and revealed that there’d be plenty of callbacks to the good ol’ days.
It’s going to be awesome and interesting to see Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) navigating life as grownups, as the parents of the main character of Girl Meets World, their daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard). But it’s also going to make us miss the days of John Adams High and Chubby’s, which is why we’re thrilled about the inside info cast member Sabrina Carpenter gave to HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
‘There Will Definitely Be Flashbacks’ On ‘Girl Meets World’

Tgif, ABC's storied, family-friendly block of Friday night programming, gave us harmless TV that some would argue has amounted to classic programming: Full House, Perfect Strangers, Hangin' With Mr. Cooper and Sister, Sister all originated in that Friday block, which ran from 1988-2000 (with a resurgence from 2003-5). When I heard that ABC was revamping Boy Meets World in a spinoff series called Girl Meets World, where onetime teens Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) raise their titular teen daughter together, I vroomed my motorcycle in approval like Jonathan Turner. Still, this raised a question: What other Tgif classics deserve a spinoff series?
Here are five options I'd be most psyched to see. Cross your fingers for a Patrick Duffy cameo.
