When things get back to normal on the production side, director Ivan Reitman's military comedy feature "Stripes" (1981) will be rebooted as a series for Sony Pictures Television and CBS TV, with Reitman set to direct the pilot from a teleplay by Trevor Moore, Sam Brown and Zach Cregger:

Stx Entertainment is teaming with China’s Tencent Pictures and Channing Tatum’s Free Association to co-produce an adaptation of Tencent digital comic Zombie Brother.
Zombie Brother has racked up more than 17 billion views over 348 episodes on Tencent’s platform since 2011, while its animated series has attracted more than 3.7 billion views across its first two seasons. The franchise has also been adapted into a mobile game and a stage play.
STXfilms will distribute the film domestically, while Tencent Pictures will handle distribution in China.

The project is based on the top title on Tencent’s digital comics and animation platform. Since 2011, the digital comic book has garnered more than 17 billion views on over 348 episodes, and its animated series has attracted more than 3.7 billion views across its first two seasons. The franchise has also been adapted into a mobile game and stage play. Free Association joined Tencent on the project in March 2017.
