- As a child and preteen, Alicia was raised on acreage in Nicasio California. She learned to ride and care for horses in Lucas Valley, a rural enclave of Marin County. The estate, belonging to her foster parents, was located across the road from Industrial Light of Magic. A private compound owned and operated by George Lucas. She was a beta tester for computer programs such as Myst, Director and Kid Pix.

- Nichols mentors youth and young adults. 2014, she volunteered weekly for GirlsInc-Alameda.org in Alameda County, California.
- 2015 Alicia worked as a sales representative for an intelligent communications company in partnership with clients such as Hearst Media Corporation and CBS.
- Alicia's half sister Benicia Hargrove is a make-up artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mrs. Hargrove worked on "Licks" film set, a cautionary urban drama.
- Alicia earned an Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College. Whereupon she also studied acting in one of the most prestigious Theater Arts Certificate Programs in Northern California-USA. She continued to network with Director Vincent Sassone who spearheaded the College's video public service announcement on diversity and inclusion- of which she appears.
- Alicia authored gang prevention programs for San Francisco Mayor's Department of Children, Youth & Their Families (DCYF- SF Team) at James Denman Middle School. A letter of recommendation from the San Francisco Unified School District was written on her behalf in 2009.
- Former United States intern (CA- District 10), Nichols earned letters of recommendation from Congress and the San Francisco Unified School District before reaching 25 years old. She appeared on ABC 7 Live with Ellen O Tauscher (Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs) who wrote her aforementioned recommendation.
- Nichols is an alumnus of California State University (Sonoma) of which she was a contributor to the long-running literary review magazine.
- In 2013, Alicia advocated for social responsibility, as Repeace Brand Ambassador, for Visionary Andrea Tosi (Switzerland). She is now politically neutral with no party affiliation. Nichols recommends constituents vote with their wallet and not at the ballot box.
