A man long credited as one of the six soldiers photographed raising the American flag over Iwo Jima in World War II was misidentified, the Marine Corps admitted. Schultz died in 1995 without ever publicly acknowledging his presence in the photo, but his stepdaughter Dezreen MacDowell told the New York Times that the Purple Heart recipient once mentioned his participation in passing. It's been a heckuva season, maybe even the best yet, but there's still a lot of story left to be told. This Sunday, we cross the midway point with episode 6: "Blood of my Blood" and judging by the title, it sounds like there might be something major happening with Daenerys and her new Dothraki army. Elsewhere, Arya will once again be confronted with making a difficult choice, Gilly will meet Sam's family, and Jaime Lannister will face-off with the High Sparrow. The coming installment will also see the return of an old foe, the identity of whom has been shrouded in secrecy, although Walder Frey is certainly a possibility. The preview also revealed we'll see the aftermath of Hodor's sacrifice. Check out the latest batch of stills below: Episode #56: “Blood of My Blood” Debut: Sunday, May 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m. Et/Pt) An old foe comes back into the picture.

"Hold the door. Hold the door. HoldTheDoor. Hold th- HoDor. Hodor." In devastating fashion, we not only learned about Bran's heartbreaking ties to Hodor's past, we also lost the gentle giant, who went out like a hero of the highest caliber. Next week, there's no time to mourn as the battle for the Iron Throne rages on as a mysterious old foe returns, Arya faces a difficult decision, Gilly meet's Sam's family, and Jaime Lannister takes on the High Sparrow right before Margaery Tyrell's walk of penance. Check out the new promo for next week's episode below: Episode #56: “Blood of My Blood” Debut: Sunday, May 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m. Et/Pt) An old foe comes back into the picture. Everton have made a bold statement in the final hours of transfer deadline day by signing Lokomotiv Moscow’s Oumar Niasse for £13.5m.
The 25-year-old Senegalese striker underwent a medical on Merseyside earlier in the day and the club have now confirmed the deal. It’s a coup – which is why Everton have made him the third most expensive player in Everton’s history – he was voted the Russian Premier League’s player of 2015 and he has impressive stats to back up his price tag.
In 21 games for Lokomotiv this season, he scored 12 goals and impressively laid on 10 assists for team-mates, and his unorthodox style should suit Romelu Lukaku as a supporting striker.
Russian football expert and commentator John Bradley offered his assessment of the striker to the Liverpool Echo, suggesting that he’s somewhat unorthodox but that his style adds up to goals:

The lawyer for a Massachusetts woman accused of killing two of her children and hiding their corpses said there's no evidence she had anything to do with their deaths. The remains of two babies and a fetus were discovered at Erika Murray's Blackstone home in September 2014. She is charged with murder in two of the deaths and has pleaded not guilty. "There is no evidence. All there is is speculation," attorney Keith Halpern argued in court Thursday, according to Mass Live. "They say, 'We think these children died of neglect. We think these children starved to death.' Maybe. We'll never know.

I’ve been a fan of Lou Ferrigno ever since he played The Incredible Hulk in the classic TV series. A lot of fans have had the opportunity to meet him over the years since he is always attending conventions. He’s never really been leading man material in film, but that all changes with an independently-made action thriller called Instant Death where fans will get to see him kick some ass. We have the first trailer for the film for you to check out, and here’s the synopsis:
A vicious gang war for drug dominance draws in a disturbed Special Forces veteran John Bradley (Lou Ferrigno). Trying to adjust to normal life and haunted by inner demons of a violent past, the underworld's retribution on his last connection to humanity, a daughter and grandchild leads to a descent of fury and violence that not even the brutality of gangland is prepared for.

You may not have seen him in quite some time, but Ryan Phillippe has kept himself pretty busy over the last couple decades. Phillippe rose to fame in the late 1990’s starring in such movies as I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, 54, and Little Boy Blue. He would continue to act in movies during the 2000’s. Some of his more memorable performances were as Brandon King in 2008’s Stop-Loss, as John Bradley in Flags of Our Fathers, and as Officer Tom Hansen in Crash. After spending twenty years away from the small screen, Ryan Phillippe returned to television in 2012 to portray Channing McClaren in the final season of Damages. He would also make a comedic guest-star appearance on a 2014 episode of Men at Work. Now Phillippe is back on television in the new series Secrets & Lies, which began airing on ABC earlier this month. …

At least two of the three babies whose skeletal remains were found in a filthy, vermin-infested Massachusetts home may have been alive "for some period of time" before they were found, a prosecutor said in court Tuesday. Both bodies were found wearing diapers and one-piece infant outfits in closets in the Blackstone home, Assistant District Attorney John Bradley said during a bail hearing for Erika Murray in Uxbridge District Court. Murray, 31, of Blackstone, Massachusetts, had been held without bail since her arraignment last month on charges of fetal death concealment, witness intimidation and permitting substantial injury to a child. Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.' Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Ser Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Queen Cersei Lannister, Emilia Clarke as Queen Daenerys Targaryen, Kit Harington as Jon Snow, Aidan Gillen as Lord Petyr Baelish, Charles Dance as Lord Tywin Lannister, Natalie Dormer as Lady Margaery Tyrell, Liam Cunningham as Ser Davos Seaworth, Stephen Dillane as King Stannis Baratheon, Carice van Houten as Lady Melisandre, Alfie Allen as Prince Theon Greyjoy, John Bradley as Samwell Tarly,...

It's been an interesting run of films for director Clint Eastwood in the 10 years since his "Million Dollar Baby" crashed the 2004 Oscar party and ran away with the gold. I say "interesting" because, at least in awards season terms, it's been a run particularly notable for lots of revving but nothing that ever materialized as a significant player. Right after "Baby" it was the one-two punch of "Flags of Our Fathers" and "Letters from Iwo Jima" in 2006, a bold play for the then-75-year-old filmmaker. While developing an adaptation of John Bradley's book for the former, Eastwood felt a perspective from the Japanese side of the WWII equation was warranted, so he quickly developed the latter. And it was "Letters" that felt like it had more on its mind, yielding surprise (for some) nominations for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay, as well an Oscar for Best Sound Editing.

Carice van Houten has one surefire way to deal with rude fans: threaten them. "I'll tell them, 'careful who you're messing with, because if I make another shadow baby, then you are the first to know,'" said the actress (who plays evil priestess Melisandre) at the SAG Awards on Saturday. "So they can get a little scared even, it's funny." Speaking of rude fans, Van Houten's co-star John Bradley-West has had his fair share of negative encounters. "Sometimes you think they're gonna be nice, and they can throw you a bit of a curveball," said the actor, who plays the role...

Welcome back Throne Gamers, whether you want to be or not! This week's episode, "The Climb," directed by Alik Sakharov, continues to dwell on the scheming and interpersonal machinations of those who happen to have a bit of power in Westeros, who are all desperately trying to pull one over on the person next to them just to save their own skin. No one seems to be in any sort of comfortable position, and all of the tricks they play on each other are borne out of sheer terror of being displaced in the power food chain. And that's the game of thrones, right? Sadly, there is little to no ass in this episode. In the North and Beyond the Wall A quick check in with Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) and his traveling mate, one of Craster's daughter-wives. They made a run for it after the Night's Watch went full cannibal holocaust at Craster's compound,...

The random acts of kindness that have come to light following the attack at the Boston Marathon and the subsequent Watertown, Mass. police standoff with suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev have been a silver lining on an otherwise tragic story. A cop photo has gone viral after the Brookline police officer, later identified as John Bradley, brought two gallons of milk to a family with a baby while Boston was locked down.
The Wells family had run out of milk for their 17-month-old son Holden while their Watertown neighborhood was closed down during the manhunt on April 19. Holden's grandmother, Trish Sommers, took a chance by leaving their house to ask Bradley if he could help them out. He obliged, and Kevin Wells took the picture of Bradley delivering them with their much-needed milk.
"It just meant the world that he literally went out and got two gallons of milk," McKenzie Wells tells Today.

Big dogs of both human and fanged varieties played big parts in this week's episode. Let's jump right in!
We start the episode running through the woods at ground level - either I'm rewatching Evil Dead, or we're in one of Bran's kooky dreams again.
Sure enough, Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) - who can walk in his dreams, like the kid from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors - sees the Third Eye Blind Raven, and he tries to shoot it with Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) help. He misses. He hears Ned's voice, then some bratty kid who looks like a Muppet Baby version of Tate from American Horror Story shows up to tell him that he can't kill the raven because the raven is Him. Is this like that "one set of footprints" thing?
Hey - speaking of Brandon Stark, it's time to catch up on...

While Episode 3 of HBO's hit Soapless Opera was a bit talkier - not to mention 100% less infanticidey - than the last two eps, that's not to say that it didn't offer its fair share of thrills, chills, and dead kids. Let's jump in, shall we?
We pick right off with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) getting his frozen ass handed to him by his sword-coveting, baby-killing host, Craster (Robert Pugh). Seriously, does no one have a copy of Martha Stewart Entertains to pass around north of the wall to help people navigate these situations? Because it says - right there in Chapter 1 - that it is considered impolite to murder your children and/or feed them to the Undead that Rule the Night when you have guests over. Also, I didn't see a single guest towel!

But Bradley later found an error in his software, and he alerted the prosecution while the trial was ongoing - though they never notified the court of the possibly exculpatory evidence, reports The New York Times. Bradley says he emailed and called prosecutors and police in late June with new findings,...

Four episodes in, and “Thrones” has yet to stumble. It’s finally taking a relaxed and confident stance in itself, and it’s clear that David Benioff and D.B. Weiss became braver as they dispensed with more chunks of place setting and character biography. Each episode has offered a subtle deviation from the source, and the plotting is generally better for it. There’s only one or two exceptions to the rule so far, and it’s a trend I’m hoping is nipped in the bud before we get deeper into the saga.
Let me be crude and just jump right into one of those exceptions: I’m tired of characters never getting to share their own revelations. Last week, it was Daenerys and her pregnancy, and this week it’s Sandor Clegane and his burned face. Sandor is defined by his scars and how he obtained them, and...
