Good Morning Britain’s Robert Rinder was spotted at a TV premiere in London last night just hours after having treatment for a prolapsed disc.
After hosting the ITV morning programme on Monday (13 February) alongside Ranvir Singh, the presenter had shared photos of himself in hospital.
The Judge Rinder star tweeted: “Started the day holding politicians to account on @Gmb and interviewing Lulu and Richie Sambora… Finished it having a prolapsed disc in my back repaired and healed.
“Life can change in a moment... Hold on to joy wherever you find it (thanks brilliant medical team).”
A prolapsed disc, more commonly known as a herniated disc, is a condition that occurs when the soft cushion of tissue between the spine pushes outward.
This often leads to a pinched nerve, which can cause severe pain, numbness or weakness in an arm or leg.

Wildlife presenter Chris Packham was seen holding back tears during the debut episode of his new BBC Two documentary, Inside Our Autistic Minds.
In the show – which aired its first episode last night (14 February) – Packham, 61, helps a group of people on the autism spectrum to create short films that reveal to their family and friends what is really going on inside their minds.
Last night’s episode saw Packham, who is autistic himself, meeting Murray Bruce, the son of radio veteran Ken Bruce.
Murray had no form of communication until he was nine years old. He is now 20 and can communicate by typing his words on a tablet.
In the programme, Murray writes Packham an email, saying: “I was alone in my world of deep and troubled pining for a person to hear me. I would wonder if that day would ever come.
“I was frustrated and pining for acknowledgement.

The first image of Lady Gaga in the sequel to Joker has been released.
Opposite Joaquin Phoenix’s chaotic anti-hero, the singer and actor is set to play Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux, the follow-up to the 2019 hit DC film.
As the love interest of Phoenix’s Joker, Harley Quinn is a henchwoman and is often used for comic effect.
In previous DC properties, including Suicide Squad and Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey, the role has been portrayed by Margot Robbie.
After Gaga was announced as part of the Joker sequel cast back in August, fans have been feverish for their first taste of the “Stupid Love” vocalist in the part.
Late on Tuesday (14 February), director Todd Phillips released a photo of the actors together, in character, as a Valentine’s Day treat.
“Happy Valentine’s day,” he wrote as a simple caption.

Dave Hollis, a former Disney executive who served as the company’s president of worldwide distribution until resigning in 2018, died Saturday night at his home in Austin, Texas. He was 47 years old.
Hollis had been recently hospitalized for heart-related health issues, though no exact cause of death has been determined.
Hollis became Disney’s theatrical distribution chief in 2011, taking the reins from a retiring Chuck Viane. Hollis’ tenure coincided with several of the largest box office successes in the studio’s history, shepherding titles from Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm and Pixar, as well as live-action remakes of animated classics and new animated features.
The resounding achievements that came with Hollis’ leadership made his 2018 resignation from the company all the more surprising. Quibi, which launched two weeks ago as a mobile-only video streaming app for on-the-go viewing, said it plans to add the ability to “cast” content to compatible TVs next month.
The company, led by founder Jeffrey Katzenberg and CEO Meg Whitman, also announced that its app has been downloaded more than 2.7 million times in the first two weeks. In the first week, according to the company, it hit 1.7 million downloads.
According to analytics company Sensor Tower, Quibi has around 2.3 million downloads to date. The Quibi figure “seems reasonable assuming they are counting all possible installs,” said Sensor Tower head of mobile insights Randy Nelson, which may include re-downloads; installs on multiple devices per Apple or Google account; or iPad downloads of the iPhone-only app.
Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that downloads do not equate to active users, as some of those who downloaded the Quibi app have likely watched very little of the quick-bite content.

Even as CinemaCon begins under a cloud of streamer anxiety, event cinema is growing fast. In an effort to lure moviegoers to off-peak screens, some 60 theater chains have turned to six-year-old Fathom Events and it now ranks 12th among U.S. distributors. In 2018, Fathom released 164 titles across 277 event dates to more than 5.1 million people; 23 titles surpassed $1 million at the box office.
As the powerful theater chains fight to maintain the status quo in a drastically shifting environment, Fathom stands out in sharp contrast as a company that is rapidly learning and innovating, much like such disruptors as Netflix. That is what theaters need to do in order to adapt and survive.

In recent years, the corporate world has given rise to a new figure: the Ladyboss. The Ladyboss is usually white. She is usually young. She is usually pretty. Donald Trump will have to dig into his vocabulary for some new Omarosa Manigault Newman names – like “best-selling author.”
Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House has hit the No. 1 spot on the Sept. 2 New York Times bestseller list for nonfiction books (print and e-books combined).
On Amazon’ Most Sold roster for nonfiction, Unhinged is at #2 for the week, just behind Rachel Hollis’ Girl, Wash Your Face, a lifestyle self-help book that’s been on the charts for 21 weeks.
Trump had tried to strike back at the highly critical Unhinged, with his campaign Donald J. Trump For President Inc. filing for arbitration against Manigault Newman for allegedly breaching a 2016 confidentiality agreement.
The book was already in stores by that time, and Gallery Books (an imprint of Simon & Schuster) merely doubled down on their intent not to be intimidated. The publisher said in a press statement today...

There’s a shakeup in Disney’s marketing ranks.
As part of the overhaul, longtime studio marketing chief Ricky Strauss has been named president, content and marketing, for the upcoming Disney Svod service, a Netflix rival that is set to launch in late 2019. He will be replaced as marketing president by Asad Ayaz.
The moves had been rumored for some time, particularly after Ayaz was approached for and turned down top executive jobs at Fox and Paramount. The official announcement was made after a Thursday morning meeting on the studio lot. By promoting both men, Disney is able to keep two of the most widely coveted executives on its Burbank lot and, more importantly, out of the leadership suites of its rivals.
In his new role, Strauss will oversee the development of the service’s original programming and will manage production partnerships and acquisitions. The hope is to offer a...
