Anne-Marie Mueschke
- Actress
- Camera and Electrical Department
- Producer
Born in southern Louisiana to an architect and an elementary school
teacher, Anne-Marie started acting in school plays at an early age and graduated with
honors from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, where she studied English
Literature, French, Theatre, and Creative Writing.
Anne-Marie's last name is pronounced Music because of a chance encounter between her paternal grandfather and Will Rogers (famed columnist, humorist, and actor). Rogers joked about Mueschke's speaking voice--how it fluctuated in timbre as he spoke--and nicknamed the man "Music," shortly thereafter referencing it in Roger's infamous newspaper column. The nickname stuck, and soon became the working pronunciation of "Mueschke." From then on, Mueschke's children and grandchildren children (including Anne-Marie) have gone by their ancestral nickname.
