In this modern epic, Kim Nguyen exposes the ruthless edge of our increasingly digital world. Cousins from New York, Vincent (Eisenberg) and Anton (Skarsgård) are players in the high-stakes game of High Frequency Trading, where winning is measured in milliseconds. Their dream? To build a fiber-optic cable straight between Kansas and New Jersey, making them millions. But nothing is straightforward for this flawed pair. Anton is the brains, Vincent is the hustler, and together they push each other and everyone around them to breaking point on their quixotic adventure. Here’s an interesting movie hybrid, a flick that’s both a wall street drama, a family character study, and a chase thriller. Really, that’s because in the financial world, speed is everything (or perhaps the only thing). It’s the old adage, “he who hestiates is lost”, though in split-second trades and deals, the hestitant can lose a fortune. Hold up, a split-second is too long, it’s now down to a millisecond, or (as one character calls it) one flap of that teeny bird’s wing. That quest to be a jump ahead of your competitors forms the family scheme known as The Hummingbird Project.
After a brief prologue detailing the ins and outs of “high frequency trading” (older info for fans of the Wall Street flicks), we’re in 2011 as “idea man” Vincent Zaleski (Jesse Eisenberg) is meeting (and selling) with the silver-haired veteran exec that will bankroll his plan.

WWE star Eva Torres snapped a bathroom selfie of her stomach one week postpartum with big plans to post it four weeks later, when she was back to her pre-baby abs. But she soon realized that it wasn't going to happen - and that it wasn't important. "I had originally taken this photo one week after I gave birth to Raeven with the intention of putting it side by side with my future 'skinny' body after I lost all my baby weight 'in just 4 weeks!' (Like they do in the magazines). Well 4 weeks passed. And then 4 months. And we are almost at a year,...

Going into Monday's two-part finale for "Stars Earn Stripes" (Mon., 9 p.m. Et on NBC), there were two men and two women left out of the eight that started in the military reality competition series. By the end of the night, only one would remain standing, and it was someone who was familiar with holding championship titles.
Todd Palin was knocked out in the first hour, leaving Dean Cain to battle two female competitors for the top prize: gold medal winner Picabo Street and two-time WWE Divas Champion Eva Torres. Perhaps it was their experience with competition and victory, but Cain fell to both women.
In the end, it was Torres who won the top prize for the Uso; her charity of choice. For winning, she eared an additional $100,000 for the charity, in addition to her earnings throughout the competition.
Ratings dipped to just above 3 million viewers for last week's penultimate installment.
