“Big Brother 22” is just a week old, but we already have our first two targets for eviction: Keesha Smith and Kevin Campbell. These fan-faves from Season 10 and Season 11, respectively, found themselves on the block after Cody Calafiore won the Head of Household competition. Cody originally hoped to nominate Kaysar Ridha and Janelle Pierzina for eviction, but the dynamic duo was protected thanks to the Safety Suite twist. Did Wednesday’s Veto save either Keesha or Kevin from the block? If so, who did the Hoh nominate in their place?

The holidays might be over, but Netflix has a quick fix for the back-to-work blues. Sing along to your favorite Beatles songs in “Across the Universe” or laugh along with the Joker as he tries to thwart Batman in “The Dark Knight” when both arrive to the streaming platform next month.
A couple classics are set to arrive as well — meet a bloodthirsty bunny and a not-dead prince in “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” and revisit the strange events of “Pulp Fiction.” Among the list of Netflix originals coming is stand-up smorgasbord “Comedians of the World,” featuring Nicole Byer, Chris D’Elia, and Neal Brennan, along with the second season of “Friends From College” and the third season of “A Series of Unfortunate Events” starring Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf. “The Incredibles 2” will wrap up the month of releases, dropping Jan. 30.

Exclusive: In a year full of big deals, it looks like the last one might be the imminent sale of the RatPac Dune library. Sources said that Vine Alternative Investments, which last year bought a controlling interest in Village Roadshow and acquired the Manchester Film Library, has moved into the lead and should be heading toward closing a deal. Sources said the bidding has gotten up to the $290 million to $300 million range. The one hiccup is that Warner Bros reserved the right to match, but the bidding here went well above the $250 million sources said the library was expected to fetch.
There were multiple bidders in the mix here, for a package of 76 films that includes minority ownership stakes in Gravity, Wonder Woman, Batman V Superman, The Lego Movie, Creed, Annabelle, Godzilla, American Sniper, Mad Max: Fury Road, It and Dunkirk. The whole library was put on the auction block last month.

As Netflix heads into its first legitimate Oscar season, the streaming giant is hoping to pull out nominations and wins for “Roma,” “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs,” and “Girl.” Lest Netflix lose sight of its one true purpose, the platform will be streaming the entire “Indiana Jones” franchise beginning in January. The streamer announced today its full list of titles for the new year, and it’s the expected mix of cult hit indies and little-known original films.
Quentin Tarantino fans can rejoice in January: “Pulp Fiction” heads to Netflix in the beginning of the month, and the classic continues to be endlessly re-watchable. Guillermo del Toro fans can also peruse “Pan’s Labyrinth,” and relive a simpler time before the Mexican filmmaker’s polarizing “The Shape of Water” Oscar win. David Mackenzie and Taylor Sheridan’s 2016 crime drama “Hell or High Water” also becomes available on the same day.

The whole library is being auctioned.
A first round of bids will be received by week’s end, and sources said the library could fetch as much as $250 million. It is the most attractive library to hit the market in at least a decade. Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri will join the cast of his Broadway musical A Bronx Tale in the role of Sonny beginning May 24.
Written by Palminteri, A Bronx Tale features music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater.
Based on the critically acclaimed play that inspired the now-classic film, the musical draws on the wisdom of the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960s, where a young man is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he’d love to be. Featuring an original doo-wop score, the story is about respect, loyalty, love and family.
The musical is directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo. The show opened on December 1, 2016 and is now playing on Broadway...
