I don't subscribe to the acting method of every role is basically you and whatever the role is, you're basically playing you-regardless of role background. That type of acting has it's place and there are several major actors known for that per se, but that's never appealed to me. Now, if you can play a role that different than you, yet still able to put in a little of "you" into it to show some "flavor"-while still being true to the role-that's different. But a touch of flavor-not the whole damn bottle (HA!).
