Jorge Nebra attended Art School in Huesca,
where he studied graphic design. He got a degree at the University of
Zaragoza in video and TV. In 1996 he directed his first fiction short
film, "El coleccionista". He traveled to Madrid, where he attended
Official Institute of RTVE. In 1998 he attended International Cinema
School of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba), where got specialized in
Photography Direction. There he directed his second short film, "La
espera". In Spain he directed his third short film "Don Quijote de la
Marcha". A year later he began to write the script of a fiction long
film, "Habanece", that he would direct in 2001, when he went back to
Cuba. He came back to Spain and worked as a director and producer of
cinema and commercials. He directed some national documentary serials,
and many musical videos and spots for TV. In 2010 he directed his
second full-length film: Tierra de Cierzo, firstly shown in In Edit
Festival in 2010.
