Home and Away actor Steve Peacocke has joined the cast of a new film starring Tina Fey.
The untitled Paramount Pictures project is based on Kim Barker's wartime memoir Taliban Shuffle, which is an account of her experiences as a terrorism and international affairs journalist.
Fey will play the self-confessed adrenaline junkie during her time in the field through Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, while Peacocke will play her bodyguard Nic, who also fancies her.
Fellow Aussie soap graduate Margot Robbie will also star in the movie, reports Deadline.
Although Peacocke has now finished filming his final scenes as Darryl 'Brax' Braxton, the actor recently said that he will still be seen "for just about all of 2015".
Peacocke has starred as Brax in Home and Away for four years. His wife Bridgette Sneddon, who started playing Sophie Taylor last summer, is also leaving the soap.
