Emmett Ivor Thomas
- Actor
Emmett was born in Nassau, Bahamas to a Welsh father and English
mother. At an early age his mother took him to London until the
beginning of his teens, when his mother then decided to move to Los
Angeles. All of his family still live in England, except his father who
lives in Nassau, a brother in Florida, and his grandfather's brother
who lives in Australia. Emmett's grandfather Ivor Thomas was a Welsh
artist whose creative talents passed onto him (His grandfather actually
had some sculptures in the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret
Service"). With only some extra work under his belt, he decided to
enlist in the United States Navy, where he served eight years,
Honourably. Already an artist, he wanted to explore all types of art
forms, and acting was the only thing he hadn't tried seriously. During
the end of his enlistment he decided to enroll into the Stella Adler
Academy of Acting & Theatre in Hollywood where his interest in
performing began to grow. It couldn't have been more apparent to his
friends and family that acting was the missing art that he had not
tried seriously; but now, as he puts it, "It was a matter of timing, I
didn't feel it my heart, but now I do, like all my art work, it has to
come from the heart and you need to have fun with it, otherwise its
pointless." Being patient, he is slowly getting into the acting.
