During this week’s broadcast of Bound for Glory 2015 on Challenge TV in the UK and Ireland, Tna President Dixie Carter announced that television cameras will be rolling during the Maximum Impact 8 tour of the UK this January. This means that all three stops on the tour will be double Impact Wrestlng TV tapings, giving Tna six weeks of television emanating from their most fervent fanbase, the United Kingdom.
This announcement also gives fans reassurance to a degree over Tna’s future. While its Us based television future is open to speculation, Impact Wrestling is also aired in 120 other countries around the world. Tna ‘s UK tour traditionally gets the biggest live audiences of the year for the company, and so they will no doubt be delighted that this will be seen by fans around the world. Much has been speculated and stated about Tna Wrestling and its future in the past few months. The company has seen a string of unfortunate press following the announcement that Spike TV was uninterested in agreeing to a new deal with Tna. Since the initial news, however, a temporary agreement was reached that will see Tna’s flagship program, Impact, remain on the network through the end of the year.
This past weekend, Tna held its final series of Impact tapings in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In just three weeks, the promotion will head overseas to Tokyo, Japan for their annual Bound for Glory pay-per-view event. With Impact taped for the rest of the year and Tna’s last PPV of 2014 quickly approaching, many of the company’s superstars took to Twitter to share their love and support for their colleagues.

Despite the wary nature of Tna as of late, the company continues to trek on. The promotion is currently in the midst of a tour of live events throughout the country. On August 15th, Tna stopped in Indiana, Pennsylvania with an estimated crowd of 300 to 400 in attendance.
The event saw Sanada overcome DJ Z in the opening contest. Other bouts on the card saw Madison Rayne defeat Angelina Love, James Storm triumph over Gunner, and Bobby Roode plant Magnus with a Roode Bomb for the three count.
The main event featured current Tna Tag Team Champions The Wolves facing off with the team of Devon and Mr. Anderson. Early in the contest something went wrong, as Davey Richards was obviously injured. He was taken to the back, leaving his partner Eddie Edwards to go it alone. That was until Abyss was added to the contest as Eddie’s partner. Ethan Carter...

It was inaccurately reported that WWE legend, Mae Young, 90, had died Thursday, Jan. 9.
Young, who is very ill, was reported dead by The Post and Courier, a Charleston, S.C. paper – the report has since been corrected.
Before the truth was publicized, news of Young’s ‘death’ had already circulated, and many wrestling stars tweeted their condolences to the women’s wrestling trailblazer.
R.I.P. Mae Young. One of my all-time favorites to work with. Such a good sport. You will be missed. pic.twitter.com/ejpYiIEm32

My condolences go out to the family and friends of Mae Young. She was the toughest person I have ever been in the ring with.

Tna have gone off the Twitter deep end. Last night’s Victory Road event was a near 3-hour advert for Social Networking. The usual trending topics flashed up on screen, but it didn’t end there. We had a Victory Road hash tag banner, Tweets displayed on the screen backstage that Jeremy Borash asked questions from, a tweet during a competitive match (by Austin Aries) and to top it all off, the commentators did Not Stop talking about it all night. They completely ignored the flow of the match and the calling of moves to instead read out generic tweets from @Velvetskysknockers or whomever they could find that had something positive to say about their show. I shouldn’t be mentioning Twitter first Ever in a wrestling review, but it really was That overpowering. It was enough to make me want to mute my TV, and I haven’t done...

Yes folks, it’s Tna PPV time again and we’ve had a look into our crystal ball to see who will be upsetting who and who has all the gold when the dust has settled.
Over the last few months we’ve seen the slow build of Robert Roode as a legit heel World Champion despite knowing in our heart of hearts that he’s only carrying the title while Tna build James Storm into the new Super-Face of the company. In the meantime he’s been feuding with on-air authority figure Sting, which leads us into yet another PPV main event starring a wrestler way beyond his prime despite a full roster of young talent that could put on a show stealing performance.
Robbie E and his TV Title Open Challenge.
I can’t believe Robbie E still has a job, or at least this horrendous gimmick. He...

This weeks opening segment revolved around the Garrett Bischoff lightning push. Imagine how much someone who’s last name wasn’t Bischoff could benefit from getting a rub from both Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan at once. Garrett showed up despite being warned not to, just to show how brave he is. Kurt Angle made himself available as a partner for Gunner to face Garrett and a partner of his choosing, his reason being that he always respected his parents and that led him to a gold medal. “Immortal” bragged that Garrett would be on his own in the main event against both. But who would possibly team up with such a rookie? Maybe someone who has a problem with Kurt Angle? Of course it turned out to be Jeff Hardy, who has taken his face paint to a whole other idiot level this week again.

The “Insane Icon,” is “Done.”
The most hyped story this week was Sting saying On Twitter that he was “Done.” Not via Tna TV or anything, Via Twitter. Because that’s how professionals deal with major announcements these days. Robert Roode announced early in the show that Sting was going to appear. Thing is that since they announced Roode’s title match against Storm was going to be at the PPV in April rather than the next one in March, they made it a bit obvious that something was going to go down at Victory Road in March. Otherwise why wouldn’t the title match just happen at Victory Road?
In the closing segment Sting came out as promised to address the Tweet that shook the world. Roode made his second appearance of the night to interrupt. Sting immediately converted over to Whacky Insane Icon Sting...

Bobby Roode retained successfully at Against All Odds so he rightfully was the main focus of the show this week. Although you have to question why he made Christy introduce him twice, he must be a glutton for punishment. He also rightfully pointed out that it’s Sting’s own fault he is still champion. The “Insane Icon” didn’t like this and so hit the ring and put him in a No Dq, No Time Limit match against Jeff Hardy in the first match. Is anyone still drug testing Jeff? Only someone on drugs could devise such terrible entrances and face paint every week. Either way, they had a decent opening match which even had a few spots around the stage and ramp. Hardy was all over Roode for the majority, and only lost when Kurt Angle made a return and threw Jeff into the steps.

Tna Against All Odds Recap
12th February 2012
Live From The Impact! Zone
Backstage the annoying cameraman tries to talk to Jeff Hardy but he just smirks and walks on. Rude. Following that, the opening video packages focuses on the World Title match and how important Hogan thinks the company is. It is a Vegas themed logo but that’s about as far as the theme gets. No Tazz tonight as he is dealing with a family death, so we have Tenay and Borash on the headsets.
#1 Contender’s Match to the X Division Title
Zema Ion vs. Jesse Sorensen
All that hairspray is bad for the environment Zema. Matt Morgan is not the only one with a “Carbon Footprint.” Jesse carries his football as always in this battle of the entrance props. He give his to a kid at ringside cause he’s that kind of guy. Zema gets in...

Last week, Bully Ray helped Bobby Roode retain again against Jeffrey Hardy. And this week, out first is James Storm with his Mickie James like entrance music/video. He’s number one contender now. He tells Kurt hes the greatest wrestler but he was better then threatens to whoop Roode’s ass. “Sorry about your damn…” He’s cut off by Jeff Hardy’s music and the Rainbow Emo himself comes to the ring. “I got screwed at the PPV, I got screwed last week.” He tells Storm nobody gets a shot until he gets his final encounter. Storm says a few months ago He got screwed. “You’d think with all this screwing he’d have a lot of child support to pay.” Before we can digest that thought, Roode comes out with a mic. He’s flattered at the attention but reminds Storm...

Bobby Roode is still your Tna Champion after Genesis, and he’s gracing us with his presence. As the fans chant “Hardy,” Roode tells us he’s the most dominant champion in the history of Impact! Roode says he’s not going to embarrass him anymore, and brings him out to “humbly accept his defeat” and shake Roode’s hand. Instead it’s Sting’s music that plays and out comes the Icon. Sting and Roode share some weird caveman insults which somehow garners a “Spank his butt” chant from the crowd. Sting calls Roode out for getting intentionally disqualified and tells him tonight he defends again against Jeff Hardy! Sting is out, and Roode throws a tantrum.
Earlier today, Matt Morgan met Crimson coming out of Direct Insurance and they gave him a Great Deal. Morgan says they’ve been amazing with his family for years.

Sting calls out another man reliving his teenage years, Jeff Hardy. If he ever left them that is. Sting tells him hes been impressed lately. Jeff Hardys face is half painted, half not. Sting says he once took his second chance and made something of it, just like Jeff Hardy is now. “There’s creatures out there that adore you and look up to you.” Some of his fans are definitely creatures. Hardy chant amongst them now as Sting gives Jeff his full 100% Endorsement. This brings out Roode, Angle and Bully Ray. First we recap Roode smashing a bottle over Storm to take his world title from him, with further emphasis on the spit and some epic music just to emphasise the heel turn. Then we are in Georgia for Impact Wrestling. And Robert Roode is first out with his new World Title and music that proclaims him to be off the chain. He says that each and every one of us would have done what he did. He tells us this is a generation of selfishness and he is the leader. Doing things the right way in society today gets you nowhere. In a picture in picture shot we see James Storm at the Gorilla position watching, then getting stopped by security when he tries to come out. That’S interesting, I like that. Finally wrestling addresses the question “Why do they only interrupt after letting them speak for ten minutes.

Hot off the heels of disappointing/predictable/weird Bound For Glory, we are back in Florida for Impact Wrestling this week. First we get a video to remind us that Hogan turned face and joined Sting, then in the arena Sting himself is on the way to the ring. Sting is happy that he got the company back to Dixie, and that he got the real Hulk Hogan back. The explanation for turning face should be a good one, right? Sting brings out Hogan and he’s all smiles and in classic red and yellow. Hogan says for the last year he’s been wrong. That was a very sudden realisation. Hogan explains that he had a few bad years, lost a bit of confidence and became a follower of Bischoff rather than a leader. There’s only one person to thank he says. And its Sting.

Tna Bound For Glory 2011
October 16th, Live from Philadelphia
Obligatory shot of the Liberty Bell and of course Rocky before we move into the Bound For Glory hype video. Then we are listening to Stain’d (for the first time since 2001 if you’re anything like me) as we go Live into the arena. You’d think for their biggest show of the year they’d have some pyro.
X Division Title
Brian Kendrick vs. Austin Aries
Lockup, the crowd strongly behind Austin Aries for some reason. We are in Philly tonight, the crowd could be interesting. Kendrick hip toss and a side head lock take over or three. Austin gets out of each one with an easy head scissors. Kendrick dropkicks him outside, where Aries decides he needs a time out. Of course Kendrick cant resist a vaulting cross body block. I can understand them cheering who they want.
