Argo Baroyan is a freelance cinematographer from 2010. He has received his education n robotics at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia.
Being a DOP of over 10 projects in both in Armenia and abroad, he has been a member of Cinematographers' Union in Armenia.
Apart from his achievements as a DOP, being a self-taught cinematographer, Argo Baroyan was the head cameraman at "Armenia TV" till 2002. Until 2005 he has worked in "Hayrenik TV", again as the head cameraman.
He has started working on his first projects all the way back in 2007. Those were short dramas "Mikosh" and "The Rope". His first feature drama film, as the DOP was "As a Begining".
Additionally, Argo has worked on several documentaries. Some of them received film awards and praises. One of such films is "The Last Tightrope Dancer in Armenia". This project was given a prize for The Best Cinematography in Saratov sufferings International Documentary Film Festival in September 11-17, 2010.
