Tyler Ritter is headed back to The CW, where he recurred on Arrow as Detective Billy Malone.
The actor will headline the network’s dysfunctional-family dramedy pilot Playing Dead, our sister site Deadline reports.
The potential series from writers Rina Mimoun and Josh Reims (Mistresses, Everwood) centers around a mortician and his teenage son whose lives are turned upside down when the woman who abandoned them 15 years ago returns and asks them to fake her death. 1. Prometheus' Identity Revealed--At the beginning of the episode I thought," We need to see more of Vigilante." Not necessarily every episode, but the character has been one of the more interesting individuals this season. Why is he so appealing? Vigilante wants to clean up city by killing the corrupt. Sound familiar? He's the equivalent of The Hood from Season 1. Adrian Chase was my number one suspect as he is the supportive Da by day, but he has his own, darker agenda at night. Also, Chase is one of the alter ego's for the character in the comics. Next, he and Prometheus came face-to-face, battled, then Prometheus revealed that he is...Adrian Chase? Well that was...interesting?...I'm hoping he isn't the actual Prometheus. When he first encountered Vigilante and stated, "Oliver is mine," it didn't sound like the same voice used by Prometheus in previous episodes.

5.14 Sin-Eater
Arrow prides itself on being the dark, gritty and dangerous arm of the ever-growing DC TV Universe (a.k.a. Arrowverse, depending on your stomach for puns). Episode 14 of season 5, Sin-Eater, sought to revisit that darkness for a handful of the show’s core characters, only to inadvertently hang a lantern on the fact that far too many of them don’t have real sins to contend with at all.
The episode’s big ark had to do with the Green Arrow finally having to answer for his hand in the murder of Detective Billy Malone. The Scpd has had a big manhunt going on after it lost one of its own, and Oliver has been...

One of Oliver Queen’s defining traits throughout the majority of Arrow‘s run has been incessant need to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, blaming himself for everyone’s mistakes when they lead to some type of bad outcome. He’s beaten himself for putting those he loves in harm’s way, for giving certain criminals the opportunity to terrorize Star City, and, just last season, for Laurel’s death. Most recently, though, Oliver has blamed himself for the death of Star City police officer and Felicity’s boyfriend, Billy Malone, who he shot and killed after being manipulated by Prometheus in this year’s

Is Olicity officially over? Not so fast!
Season five of Arrow has already been jam-packed with adrenaline-pumping showdowns and epic training montages, but any heart-pounding romance scenes have disappeared faster than one of Oliver's arrows.
