John Morgan is a Television and Film actor, based out of New York City. He is best known for his appearance as Jeffery MacDonald in the FX Mini-Series, "A Wilderness of Error" (2020), and made two other appearances on Investigation Discovery Network for "Dead of Winter" and "Evil Lives Here". He graduated with a BFA in Film Directing from Purchase College's Conservatory of Film in 2013 and is a former non-union cameraman and production assistant. Continuing to pursue his creativity in the industry, he retired from working as a camera technician, and started to pursue acting professionally in 2018.
John Morgan has a limited acting education, but debuted as an actor at 17, in Andre Gregory's "Alice In Wonderland" with Hudson Guild's Community Theatre Company in New York, in which he played The Mad Hatter, The Caterpillar, and Humpty Dumpty. Shortly after, John starred in the short film "Tear" (2008) by Magnus Pind Bjerre. While pursuing his BFA in Film at SUNY Purchase, John continued to act in numerous student productions over the course of five years.
John Morgan expanded more into online media with the launch of Cinema Obscura on YouTube in 2017.
