Shooting officially began this week at Swiss locations on Markus Welter's 3D horror slasher film One Way Trip. Austrian writing duo Matthias Bauer and Bastian Zach's screenplay focuses on a group of young people falling into the murderous clutches of a madman as they search for hallucinogenic mushrooms in Switzerland's Jura Mountains. The cast is headlined by Sabrina Reiter, Melanie Winiger, Herbert Leiser, and Martin Loos. The co-production between Zurich-based HesseGreutert Film and Viennas Superfilm is the first 3D feature film to go into production from Switzerland and Austria and is described by the producers as "an intelligent slasher film with gothic elements and an unexpected ending."...

Ah, the slasher film. So good. So gory. So deliciously slicey dicey! If My Bloody Valentine 3D proved anything, it was that the notion of bodies being horribly eviscerated in 3D can be lots of fun! The good news? There's a brand new slasher coming our way that's looking to fill all three dimensions with gore!
According to Screen Daily Zurich-based HesseGreutert Film and Vienna’s Superfilm are to co-produce the first 3D feature film to come from Switzerland and Austria. Markus Welter's One Way Trip, which is described by the producers as "an intelligent slasher film with Gothic elements and an unexpected ending", is set to begin its six-week shoot from the end of September.

Hesse Greutert Film and director Markus Welter are about to take a One Way Trip ...in 3-D, of course. Matthias Bauer and Bastian Zach penned the script which is being described as "an intelligent slasher-film with gothic elements and an unexpected ending." With a bit of digging, we've found a lengthy plot synopsis to share. Eight young people drive into the Swiss Jura region, food and tents in the trunk. It's autumn and high season for a magic mushroom that grows there, the reason for their trip. After a few problems they arrive at the desired location deep in the woods, the tents are set up, the mushrooms are collected and when it gets dark the party starts. Everything is fine until one of the kids goes to get beer and comes back with a blood-covered and smashed...
