The Disney Channel is going to the geeks with the new Geek Charming, a made-for-television movie starring Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland as the girl who gets a new point of view when she becomes the subject of a documentary.
Geek Charming, based on Robin Palmer’s young adult novel by the same name, tells the story of Dylan Shoenfield (Hyland), a snobbish high school girl that agrees to be the subject of a documentary on high school popularity being made by film geek Josh Rosen (High School Musical’s Matt Prokop) after Josh rescues her designer bag from a fountain (work with it people; it’s Disney).
