Ronnie Loaiza
- Actor
Ronnie Loaiza is an actress and a news anchor at KFI News in Los
Angeles. Like many college students, Ronnie started out in broadcast
news as an intern, but unlike many, she was hired out of that and every
internship that followed. Upon graduating college, Ronnie went to
Paris, France, where she worked as a writer for Paris Passion Magazine,
then as a bureau assistant for CBS News. She arranged coverage for a
myriad of events from Haute Couture Fashion shows to international
summits, as well as the Olympics. While abroad, Ronnie's love of
story-telling was developed in field; producing features for cable
networks including ESPN, ABC Sports, NBC Sports, USA Network and CBS.
Upon returning to the U.S. Ronnie hosted the hit talk show on AM 1000
KCEO, entitled The Actors Showcase. Whilst there, she moderated a live
competition among actors...a showcase competition amongst actors who
were judged by acting coaches, agents and teachers. She also wrote and
anchored entertainment news segments, as well as engaged listener
call-in participation. Personality and great ad-libbing lead Ronnie to
a career in broadcasting, as a TV Weathercaster, TV News Reporter,
Anchor, and Host of various cable and internet shows. Ronnie anchors
(2008-2011 and on...) the weekend news on KFI AM 640 --the #1 News and
Talk Station in Los Angeles. Parallel to tapping into her talent for
telling other people's stories as a writer and as a newscaster, Ronnie
knows her passion lies in acting.... conveying people's stories in
playing their emotions and lives (roles) authentically.
