On Buddy "Cake Boss" Valastro's new TLC show, "Bakery Boss," the reality star/businessman/baker visits failing bakeries across the country to help the owners turn their businesses around. Essentially, it's Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares" mixed with Robert Irvine's "Restaurant Impossible," but with bakeries.
On Monday's (Dec. 9) episode, Valastro brings in an actual drill sergeant to teach Kristi, owner of Kristi G's Cupcakes & More, how to assert herself in the workplace. Zap2it has an exclusive clip of their encounter.
"He's going to toughen you up, he's going to help you find your voice, and most importantly, he's going to help you become a strong leader," Buddy tells Kristi before introducing former Army Drill Sergeant Jay Johnson.
"You're responsible for these people. Their lives are in your hands. You can't be their buddy," Johnson tells Kristi.
"Bakery Boss" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. Et/Pt on TLC.
