Ryan Murphy is not one to shy away from many things. This even includes casting names not normally known for acting, such as Lady Gaga’s early crossover role when she made her appearance in the FX series, American Horror Story. Recently, Murphy even cast Kim Kardashian in a later season of American Horror Story, who isn’t the most popular figure, given the amount of exposure she’s received for years. Murphy would drop a teaser for his upcoming horror drama for FX, which you can watch below, and Deadline has reported that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will be making his Hollywood debut in Grotesquerie.

Last year, Angel Studios opened a booth at CinemaCon in Last Vegas to launch its distribution arm. That paid off handsomely after “Sound of Freedom” exploded to a $250 million worldwide gross. This year, they took to a much bigger stage for a Caesar’s Palace breakfast presentation and announced its intention to stun the industry again.
The Angel headliner was “David,” an animated musical based on the Biblical story of David vs. Goliath. Or, as the studio’s chief marketing officer Alex Nielsen told the audience: “We intend to release the most successful animated film of all time.”
Angel dated “David” for Thanksgiving weekend 2025, but it presented a full trailer and a full song to a packed, standing-room only house inside the Palace Ballroom. The trailer also touted that former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is an executive producer on the project.

Ryan Murphy can’t be stopped. The prolific producer took to Instagram to drop a teaser for Grotesquerie, a new horror drama series starring Niecy Nash-Betts.
View this post on Instagram
A post shared by Ryan Murphy Productions (@ryanmurphyproductions)
The Grotesquerie teaser offers no visuals, just the voice of Nash-Betts. “I don’t know when it started. I can’t put my finger on it. But it’s different now. There’s been a shift. It’s like something’s opening up in the world — a kind of hole to the center of nothingness,” Nash-Betts’ character says in the teaser. “What I saw today — they sent shrinks for everyone who worked this crime scene. You think, ‘Well hon, evil has always existed,’ and cite some statistic about how the world’s getting better, less murder, more help, less global horror, never been a better time to be alive, honey. Come back.

“He just comes from a great family. We have a lot in common in that respect. I feel like you can really tell who a person is by the people that raise them, and I just love his parents so much. They have a great relationship,” she continued.

The Super Bowl ad roster is usually filled with commercials for beer, candy and snacks. There will also be at least one focused on something more serious.
The Foundation to Combat Antisemitism, an advocacy group backed by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, will run a 30-second spot during CBS’ February 11 broadcast of Super Bowl Lviii, ensuring that a serious note will sound amid many silly ones.
Kraft’s group launched its efforts in 2023, committing at least $200 million to fight hatred against Jews in the U.S. The group says 3,291 antisemitic incidents were reported in the U.S. in the last three months alone, marking an increase of almost 400%. The commercial will call upon viewers of all backgrounds to stand up against prejudice and hate against Jews.

Josh Andrés Hernandez is preparing to dig into the mind of Aaron Hernandez for his upcoming role in Ryan Murphy’s American Sports Story.
The actor spoke with Deadline about preparing to portray the troubled former Patriots tight end at Monday’s Los Angeles premiere of the upcoming Hunger Games prequel, Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
“It’s a story with a lot of factors, as I’m sure everybody with familiarity towards it knows. There’s the mental health factor, the crime factor, the money, the fame, all of these things,” he said. “As an actor, it’s kind of like it’s a dream to have something so, so juicy to dive into it.”
In addition to researching Hernandez and his history, Rivera is also working on bulking up to play the part of an offensive lineman.
“They’re trying to get me as big as I can be.

To borrow a rhetorical device from ESPN’s great sports documentary series 30 for 30: What if I told you there exists the most dramatic college football team of all time?
Said football team was filled with enough off-the-wall stories and colorful characters to make any would-be documentarian salivate. These characters and their stories include: a megalomaniacal head coach who got fired from his first NFL job mid-season for feeling up an undergrad at a steakhouse named after him, a star defensive end who was arrested for a DUI just days before the NCAA Southeastern Conference Championship game, and a tight end who committed literal murder.
That team is real. It was the 2005-2010 University of Florida Gators. Now, what if I told you there is a just-released docuseries about said team … that completely omits all of the dramatic information cited above and more? That docuseries is also real.

Jana Duggar turned 33 in January. She remains unmarried. While that’s nothing to even talk about most of the time, in the Duggar family’s ultra-conservative Christian circle, an unmarried 33-year-old woman certainly gets looks. Duggar family followers have been curious about Jana Duggar’s perpetually single status, too. Multiple theories about why she remains single have been tossed around. We’ve collected them all.
Theory #1: Jana Duggar has stayed behind to protect her siblings
By the time the Josh Duggar molestation scandal broke, Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard were married. Jinger Vuolo was heading toward courtship with Jeremy Vuolo, and Joy-Anna Forsyth had her eye on Austin Forsyth. Jana didn’t have any significant dating prospects on the horizon.

Olivia Culpo is ready to say "I do" to her longtime boyfriend, NFL player Christian McCaffrey. On April 7, the model shared on Instagram that she and McCaffrey are engaged. She posted a series of photos from the moment that McCaffrey got down on one knee alongside the caption, "♾️4.2.23♾️." The happy couple have been together for several years now, but before she found her NFL star fiancé, Culpo's dating history was a star-studded affair.
Culpo has been romantically linked to several celebrities over the years, including Nick Jonas, Tim Tebow, and Zedd. However, her most serious relationship by far is the one she shares with McCaffrey. In November 2022, she revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the football player is so sweet that he made her forget her vow to stop dating sports stars.

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey just announced they’re engaged!
The happy couple took to Instagram on Friday to announce their engagement with a series of black and white photos. In the carousel post, the San Francisco 49ers star can be seen down on bended knee, as Culpo holds her hands together in front of her face in what appears to be a total surprise moment.
The proposal took place Sunday at the luxury Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point, Utah, where they were surrounded by a sweet flower arrangement and, of course, breathtaking red rocks. Culpo opted for an oversized blazer over a dress and high-knee boots. She wore minimal jewelry — only a set of small earrings — until McCaffrey slipped on a giant rock on that finger. The NFL star’s wardrobe consisted of a classic look — black pants, boots and a black sweater over a white dress shirt.

ESPN host Stephen A. Smith has a reputation for shooting from the hip with outrageous takes on sports issues. Today, he turned the attention on himself, candidly admitting his role in having First Take co-host Max Kellerman removed from the show.
First Take is one of the highest-rated ESPN shows, although its audience has dwindled since Skip Bayless left for Fox in 2016. The Smith-Kellerman marriage resulted from that, but apparently soured over the long term, according to Smith, who talked to Hot 97 radio’s Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg..
“The rumor’s accurate in terms of me wanting him off the show,” Smith said of Kellerman. It “was not a great partnership anymore and that was something that needed to change.”
Smith felt that the team had hit a wall.
“It wasn’t really about asking him to be off the show, it was about the fact that I knew that we,...

ESPN today announced Tim Tebow as one of the initial debate partners on Stephen A. Smith’s First Take.
Tebow, who was cut from the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars in his latest pro sports comeback attempt, will appear with Smith on Fridays. The show has also slotted ex-Dallas receiver and Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin on Mondays.
The other days will feature a rotating cast of ESPN personalities, including Mina Kimes and Kendrick Perkins. Molly Qerim Rose will remain on the show as a moderator. The multiple hosts replace Max Kellerman, who will be moving to his own afternoon show and morning radio stint for ESPN.
Tebow likely will have his hands full taking on the bombastic Smith. The highly religious 2007 Heisman Trophy winner isn’t known for a mean streak and outrageous comments, something Smith has in abundance.
Kellerman made his final appearance on the show Wednesday.

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s episode of “The Masked Singer.”)
“The Masked Singer” unmasked and eliminated another contestant on this week’s episode, the final one ahead of the Season 3 finale next week. That competitor was the Rhino, who turned out to be former professional baseball player Barry Zito. And though the former Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants ballplayer has also had a music career, he is primarily known for his time in the Mlb. He said he’s “just as shocked as anybody” that he made it to “The Masked Singer” semifinals.
“I learned in my baseball career that setting goals is great, but being a little too obsessed with results can put me in a dark place. I know that about myself,” Zito told TheWrap. “So my only goal going in was to truly enjoy the experience and not be too caught in winning or being first place.

The Rhino is “The Masked Singer” contestant who has shown the most growth over season 3. He contends for a slot in the top six in quarterfinal 2 on April 22. He is competing against the Banana, Frog and Kitty. All four were featured on the special sing-along episode on April 15. The Rhino chose two of his previous performances that showcase his versatility: “Nice to Meet Ya” by Niall Horan and “Tracks of My Tears” by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.
We’ve rewatched those performances as well as his other two — “Have a Little Faith in Me.” by John Hiatt and “What a Man Gotta Do” by Jonas Brothers. And we’ve taken another look at his clues videos. We think that the four judges are on the right track with their theory that the Rhino is a professional athlete.
However, we are sure that they are wrong with their guesses that...

“The Masked Singer” brings together its nine remaining Season 3 contestants, dubbed the “Super Nine,” for the first time on Wednesday’s special two-hour episode. Those costumed celebrities are the ones who made it through the championships rounds for Group A, B and C over the first nine episodes of the Fox singing competition’s third season. But do you remember which nine contestants made the cut?
If you don’t, we don’t blame you, seeing as Group A last performed Feb. 12 and Group B on March 4. But because we want you to be prepared to resume your whosungit investigation this week, we’ve rounded up all nine of the “Super Nine” contestants — and some guesses as to their identities — below so that you’re prepped ahead of Wednesday’s supersized episode.
Check out the list below and the promo clip above.

“The Ncaa has nothing on us,” host Nick Cannon said at the start of this week’s The Masked Singer, and yeah, that is factually accurate.
Fox’s reality singing series was shot a while back, so Cannon had no way of knowing that Episode 8 would drop in the middle of a pandemic that is forcing all of us to stay home, eat our feelings and scrub our hands like we’ve never scrubbed before. (Or maybe that’s just me?) The March Madness college basketball tournament to which he refers is cancelled. TV shows are stopped in their tracks.

(Warning: This post contains spoilers from Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer”)
“The Masked Singer” moved on from its second crop of Season 3 contestants with its Wednesday episode, which introduced viewers to six more of the third season’s 18 competitors.
Those masked singers are part of Group C, a lineup that will compete over the next two weeks until they’ve been whittled down to three contestants who will join the remaining singers from Group A and Group B as the show’s “Super Nine” finalists for the remainder of the season.
Well, we already know at least one contestant who won’t be moving on to the finals: Bear, who was the first Group C contestant eliminated and revealed to be former Alaska governor and one-time vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. (You can see how viewers reacted to her unmasking — and performance of Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” here.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 3, episode 7 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired March 11 on Fox.
We can bear-ly believe it: Former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin was unmasked as the Bear on Wednesday night’s edition of “The Masked Singer,” and her song choice was… well, unexpected.
Palin, who performed “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix A Lot in the episode, told host Nick Cannon that “to not be able to see much of anything out of this is really nice. It takes the sharp edges off the world. Everything looks a little softer, nicer. I needed this.” Why the bear? “The bear is part of my nickname growing up and the whole ‘Mama Bear’ thing, and they’re in Alaska. They’re in their front yards. Bear was easy. I was so appreciative of ‘The Masked Singer,’ they let me exploit men. I...
