Dwayne Johnson donned barely-there briefs when he began his entertainment career in 1996 as a professional wrestler. Since then, the actor has taken his signature style beyond a bare chest and singlets. As Johnson broke into Hollywood in the early 2000s, he added fitted tee shirts, leather jackets, and unique suits to his wardrobe. Nearly 25 years, the 8-time WWE champion serves as a style icon for many men. See his hottest looks over the years here:

Dwayne Johnson for President? Johnson says he was approached by several political parties in 2022 to run for U.S. President after a 2021 political poll found that 46% of Americans would vote for him.
“That was an interesting poll that happened, and I was really moved by that. And I was really uh, blown away. I was really honored,” he told Trevor Noah on his Spotify What Now? podcast.
“At the end of the year . . . in 2022 I got a visit from the parties, asking me if I was going to run and if I could run,” Johnson said. “It was a big deal. And it came out of the blue. And it was one after the other.”
“They brought up that poll. They also brought up their own deep dive research that would prove, should I ever decide to go down that road. . . .”
Johnson told Noah it has never been his goal to be in politics.

A makeover for the ages. Once again, Dwayne Johnson is letting his adorable, artistically inclined daughters use him as their canvas.
The action star took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video of his girls — Jasmine, 7, and Tiana, 4 — as they gave him a pink lipstick makeover. They painted his entire face with pink lipstick and then drew on an old-timey mustache.
“Daddy can we give you a makeover? No baby, daddy has a zoom meeting in 10min. Please it’ll be quick!” Johnson captioned the video. “Ok, but make it quick but only do my nails and make me look handsome.”
Then, summarizing the outcome of the event, Johnson wrote, “Zoom meeting canceled. my two tornadoes point and laugh uncontrollably with no mercy judgment. I spend an hour Trying to scrub lipstick off my head and face – unbeknownst to me – this sh*t stains the skin.”

Forget handsome; Dwayne Johnson's daughters wanted their dad to be beautiful after their expert makeover. On March 24, Johnson shared a video of his two youngest daughters, Jasmine, 7, and Tia, 4, painting him pink with their mom Lauren Hashian's lipstick just 10 minutes before a Zoom meeting on Instagram. The girls wielded the lipstick like a crayon as they colored their dad's entire face and the top of his head.
In the video, Johnson asks his daughters if he looks handsome. "Wait, what do you mean handsome?" Jasmine responds. "You're a girl." He responds that he's a boy, but after Jasmine keeps insisting, he agrees that he's a girl. Then Tia peels off, shouting, "You need blender!" Meanwhile, you can see the "Jungle Cruise" actor admitting defeat as he realizes he's not going to make his Zoom call.

Dwayne Johnson doesn’t miss an opportunity to joke around — even with police officers about to inspect his car.
The action star took to TikTok on Wednesday to share a video of an interaction with officers outside an XFL Stadium, where he was asked to stop his car and unlock the doors — seemingly as part of a routine security check at the arena.
“Can you please do me a favour and put in park for me and make sure the doors are unlocked?” the officer says, as Johnson’s passenger records the moment.
“I can, and I got a lot of guns in here,” Johnson says, before quickly bicep flexing with both arms and adding, “These kind.”
The officer laughs at the quip, and Johnson adds, “There’s always room for a cheesy joke, I know. You’re welcome.”

Trevor Noah made dreams come true during his opening monologue at the Grammys on Feb. 5. Specifically, he made Adele's dream come true. Though the music superstar was nominated for seven awards at the ceremony, Noah found a way to make her night even better when he introduced her to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson! Now Johnson is talking about how the whole thing came together and how the Grammys kept it a secret from Adele.
"We wanted to do something special for Adele," the former wrestler told Variety in an interview published on Feb. 7. "I know that she is a very big fan of mine and has made that clear publicly many times. But I've got to tell you, I am a huge fan of hers, as well - her music, her journey, her openness and directness in how she speaks. I've always admired that about her.

The 2023 Grammys began with an unusually smooth start. Bad Bunny opened the show, getting everyone on their feet at the very beginning of an incredibly long night. The crowd seemed to be buzzing, especially at the front tables where music’s biggest stars were sitting, cheering on their peers. But in the midst of the celebrity fanfare, there was one figure who seemed to be over the event before it had even really started: a Dunkin-less Ben Affleck seated beside his wife, Jennifer Lopez.

In the lead-up to his new film Black Adam, former wrestler turned movie superstar Dwayne Johnson has assured the world that he is no longer considering running for President as he had been previously.
According to a recent interview, Johnson is much more interested in raising his young daughters than becoming president.
In 2021, Johnson responded to a public poll where 46 of Americans polled stunningly said they would consider voting for The Rock in a presidential election.
“I do have a goal to unite our country and I also feel that if this is what the people want, then I will do that,” Johnson said at the time.
Johnson spoke about his political future on CBS This Morning, during a wide-reaching interview where he spoke about the beginnings of his wrestling career, early difficulties, and the friendships that got him through it.
“It’s off the table,” Johnson confirmed to CBS anchor Tracy Smith.

Hollywood Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has dismissed the idea that he will run for US President, much to the disappointment of fans. Despite saying last year that he would enter the race for the White House if he had enough public support, the wrestler-turned-actor said that it is now “off the table” for the sake of his family, reported aceshowbiz.com.
He speaks about the prospect of running for the White House in a teaser trailer from his forthcoming interview for CBS Sunday Morning on October 9.
“It’s off the table. Yes, it is off the table. I will say this, ’cause it requires a B-side to this. I love our country and everyone in it,” the 50-year-old star explains.
“I also love being a daddy. And that’s the most important thing to me, is being a daddy – number one, especially during this time, this critical time in my daughters’ lives.

Dwayne Johnson’s new movie for Netflix, “Red Notice,” stars three of the biggest celebrities on the planet — Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot — and is one of many Hollywood films that feature firearms for the sake of action-packed storylines.
“Red Notice,” which launches on the streaming service on Nov. 12, followed very careful safety protocols on-set, as most productions do. But after the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on Alec Baldwin’s film “Rust,” Johnson is pledging to stop using real firearms on all projects that are produced by his company, Seven Bucks Productions.
“First of all, I was heartbroken,” Johnson began, speaking to Variety at Wednesday night’s premiere of “Red Notice” in Los Angeles. “We lost a life. My heart goes out to her family and everybody on set. I’ve known Alec, too, for a very long time.”

"When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible." So said the titular Harry in Nora Ephron's 1989 classic When Harry Met Sally. And Dwayne Johnson, basically. The 17-time WWE champ turned eminently bankable movie star was "only kidding" when he initially cracked to Ellen DeGeneres that the reason he and bride Lauren Hashian held their nuptials roughly an hour and a half after the sun began to rise over the Hawaiian island of Kauai was because "I had the 8 o'clock workout." Because, of course, the real answer was that he was just ready. "We wanted to...

Sunday Am Update: Even with Space Jam: A New Legacy in homes on HBO Max, Warner Bros. proves again that when they shell out on TV spots, they can open the film in movie theaters to a solid number. In this case, it was the best 3-day we’ve seen for a family film during the pandemic, with $31.65M. That’s also the best for Warner Bros. during the Covid-19 era, beating Godzilla vs. Kong‘s big Easter opening of $31.625M by a smidge, and also a record career opening for director Malcolm D. Lee, beating the opening weekend of his Girls Trip by $31.2M.
“It’s the family movie of the summer, and it’s exciting to see audiences come back in big numbers,” said Warner Bros. domestic theatrical distribution chief Jeff Goldstein, who praised the big marketing push by the studio for the Looney Tunes NBA sequel,...

Mother's Day tends to get most of the hype. And, if we're being real, we're okay with that. Moms tend to be the ones to actually carry and birth children—a nine-plus-month endeavor that ain't for sissies. Should parents choose to breastfeed, that's on Mom, too. And research shows women are still picking up the bulk of the housework and were the ones most likely to quit their jobs during the pandemic when all carefully researched and chosen childcare options...

Before Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson inevitably commences his presidential run, he might want to first try running for president of the cutthroat Hoa at North Beverly Park, where he’ll have his legendarily callused hands full dealing with some of SoCal’s most high-maintenance residents, folks who live in what is often considered the most exclusive and expensive guard-gated community in Los Angeles. Hollywood’s highest paid actor (the Fast & Furious franchise, the Jumanji franchise, Ballers) and his wife Lauren Hashian have a new mansion in the community, where some of their nearest neighbors include Denzel Washington, Sly Stallone, Rod Stewart, Eddie Murphy and Sofía Vergara.
Last week, Johnson rolled out $27.8 million for a particularly lavish estate within Beverly Park, which sits high in the mountains above Beverly Hills. The deal went down quietly and closed off-market, though the property was very briefly available for sale earlier this year with a $30 million ask.

Dwayne Johnson's new show, Young Rock, premiered on NBC on Tuesday night, and many fans are wondering whether it's based on a true story. Well, the short answer to that is yes.
Even though the show takes place in the year 2032 and Johnson isn't actually running for president in real life (although many probably wish he would), Young Rock is an autobiographical sitcom that highlights real-life events from the actor's formative years.
"All these stories, finally, we started thinking, 'I wonder if there's value in creating a show that has the lens of comedy, but to be able to share the life lessons I've learned,'" Johnson explained during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "We wanted to figure out three points in my life that were defining times: when I was 10 years old living here in Hawaii, when I was 15 years old after multiple...
