- Tayk Kim is a South Korean animator and animation director, and owner of Luk Film, his animation studio in Korea employing over sixty talented artists.
Mr. Kim started working in animation in 1968, and over the years he has produced animation for nearly all the Hollywood studios, including Hanna-Barbara, Ruby-Spears, Klasky-Csupo, Saban Entertainment, Hyperion, Disney, Warner Brothers, Ralph Bakshi Prods., etc. . American studios provide Mr. Kim with storyboards, character designs, key backgrounds, color and x sheets, and from there, Mr. Kim and his studio handle all main animation production.

- Worked alongside legendary Japanese anime artist Ippei Kuri, when Tatsunoko Production Company Ltd. subcontracted various anime work to Tayk Kim's South Korean animation studio. Mr. Kuri, on his many visits to Korea, taught Mr. Kim and his staff how to produce Japanese style anime.
- Mr. Kim often travels to Beijing, China, where he teaches China's top animation students the techniques of American style film and TV animation.
