Crystal Kung Minkoff is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, much to the disappointment of her husband, Rob Minkoff.
After Crystal revealed that she wouldn’t be returning to the Bravo reality series for season 14, Rob shared his own reaction to the news. He hinted that his absence from the show would deprive viewers of some quality content.

Crystal and Rob made their Rhobh debut in season 11. One of Rob’s most memorable moments on the show came in season 12, when he showed off his dance moves at Garcelle Beauvais’ 55th birthday party.

Adam Driver cemented his status as one of the all-time great Saturday Night Live hosts this week.

Old Dads is a comedy film directed by Bill Burr, who also co-wrote the film with Ben Tishler. The Netflix film follows three middle-aged men, who find themselves not fitting in the customs of the modern and often times very fragile and easily offended world. Burr’s style of comedy makes the film work as he also stars in the lead role alongside Bobby Cannavale and Bokeem Woodbine. So, if you loved the Netflix film here are some similar movies you could watch next.

As we creep towards summer, Netflix has a hot new list of fresh content, including the final season of “Never Have I Ever,” the sophomore season of ‘Human Resources” and the highly anticipated sixth season of “Black Mirror.”
Kicking off the start of the month on mega streamer are lots of family-friendly goodies like both “Nanny McPhee” and “Nanny McPhee Returns,” “Kicking and Screaming,” “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius” and the “Angry Birds Movie.” But the adults won’t be left out of the conversation, as more mature flicks and series like “Jarhead,” “Funny People” and “We’re the Millers” are also hitting the platform this month.
And it wouldn’t be Netflix without its originals. “Take Care of Maya,” “Extraction 2” and the Sarah Snook-led “Run Rabit Run” will land on the site in June. And even if this isn’t enough to get you watching, Netflix will be streaming its Tudum festival on Saturday,...

Netflix gained a new competitor last month (sort of) when HBO Max and Discovery+ combined forces to create the confusingly-named Max. With its list of new releases for June 2023, however, Netflix doesn’t have too much to worry about.
This month is filled with some major Netflix original titles, not the least of which is The Witcher season 3 volume 1 on June 29. Though star Henry Cavill is set to leave the Polish folklore/video game adaptation in season 4, he remains very much entrenched as the titular Witcher in this next go-around. Other big TV hits include Manifest season 4 part 2 (June 2), Big Mouth spinoff Human Resources season 2 (June 9), and animated King Kong series Skull Island (June 22). That’s not even to mention the return of Black Mirror season 6. That still has yet to receive a release date but we have no doubt it will be properly epic once it arrives.

The movie format where a character beloved by kids becomes a CGI creature, who is then plugged into a live-action universe, is one of the most casually technically astonishing of all popcorn genres — and, as often as not, one of the most stunted. It almost doesn’t matter if the hero is Garfield or Stuart Little, Alvin and the Chipmunks or Sonic the Hedgehog: The way this genre has descended from the noisy bravura of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” the actors tend to be reduced to one-note stooges who get stuck in too many green-screen reaction shots, whereas the critter at the center — the animated star — is, almost inevitably, a preening chatterbox who wears out his welcome by pelting the live-action players, and the audience, with too many bad punchlines.

In a fitting manner, M. Night Shyamalan's path to notoriety was full of unexpected twists. With this month’s release of Glass, we take a look at the early years of this contentious filmmaker.
M. Night Shyamalan is a popular filmmaker who has gained notoriety for his supernatural thrillers and the manner in which his films often end with a shocking twist. His breakthrough was the 1999 Bruce Willis-starring thriller, The Sixth Sense. That film seemingly came out of nowhere and impressed both audiences and critics with its wit and the performances of its two lead actors. The film would go on to gross more than a billion dollars at the box office (adjusted for 2019), and would give his career a huge momentum boost which would continue over the course of his next few films, which included Unbreakable, Signs, and The Village. Both The Sixth Sense and The Village would receive Academy Award nominations,...

Star Wars is one of the biggest — if not the biggest — franchises in film history and they have certainly left their mark on the Academy Awards. One of the most consistent categories these space operas have popped up in throughout the years is the best visual effects category, with only one of the films not making the cut between the ceremonies of 1978 and 2017 to varying success. Let’s take a look back at how well the eight installments have done in terms of wowing us with optic splendor.
We have to start with the most recent, just for the sake that it’s currently in contention. That brings us to the Gareth Edwards-directed Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which is nominated in for best visual effects alongside Deepwater Horizon, Doctor Strange, The Jungle Book, and Kubo and the Two Strings.

If you just can.t get enough of talking animated mice, you.re in luck today. It.s been more than a decade since we saw the adorable, precocious, possibly even heroic Stuart Little on the big screen (the third movie, 2006.s Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild, went directly to video), but there.s more on the way as the popular family movie is getting a remake courtesy of Sony Pictures and Red Wagon Entertainment. The Tracking Board was the first to report that the iconic little mouse is getting another go at cinematic success. Like its theatrical predecessors, this version of Stuart Little will be a hybrid of computer animation and live-action footage (again, Stuart Little 3 is the black sheep of the family and was entirely animated) and follows the adventures of the titular mouse and the Littles, the human family that adopts him. In what is unmistakably a sign of the apocalypse, Warner Bros is prepping a reboot of Scooby-Doo which was live action'ed in the long long ago era of 2002, the same year that spawned the original Spider-Man already two-years replaced to no one's advantage. We already know that Tomb Raider will happen sooner rather than later. What's next from the early Aughts? Red Dragon, which was itself a do-over of Manhunter (1986)? 8 Mile starring Macklemore? Stuart Little? Panic Room? Legally Blonde? Oceans 11 with an all new cast of younger cool? Charlies Angels?
The most depressing thing about the do-over craze isn't that it exists exactly since the movies have always tried to repeat successes. But that it did not replace sequels. Several franchises from the nineties and early aughts are Still producing sequels (Fast & Furious, The Bourne Identity, X-Men, Mission Impossible, etcetera). You can't have both, Hollywood. We'll have nothing new ever.

Several franchises from the nineties and early aughts are Still producing sequels (Fast & Furious, The Bourne Identity, X-Men, Mission Impossible, etcetera). You can't have both, Hollywood. We'll have nothing new ever.

With Disney's Maleficent hitting theaters next month, we cannot help but think about all our favorite classic movies that have been remade into box office hits. Our leading lady Snow White was remade into Mirror Mirror, the adventurous Alice was recreated and brought to life in the 2010 version of Alice in Wonderland and we met a grown up Peter Pan in the adaptation Hook.
We are enjoying the remakes of our Disney adventures, there are a few classics we would not mind seeing be retold. We know there are too many remakes to name, but there are still a few they have yet to tackle. Take a look at the top five Disney classics that we would like to be remade with todays technology:
1. The Little Mermaid. Who does not want to see a mermaid in real life? We know we would love to see the animation of the fish talking to Ariel.

After spending 60 consecutive weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and winning the Newbery Medal, the children's novel The One and Only Ivan from author Katherine Applegate will get the big screen treatment. Complete with gorgeous illustrations by Patricia Castelao, the story follows a silverback gorilla named Ivan who has spent 27 years in a glass enclosure in a shopping mall, along with an elephant named Stella and stray dog named Bob. Ivan passes the days by painting and watching TV, with no memory of life before captivity, but when a new baby elephant from the wild arrives, flashes of his previous life come back. As Ivan begins to remember life before the mall, he concocts a plan to take the baby elephant away from their abusive owner. The book is said to be in the same vein as Charlotte's Web and Stuart Little, with a timeless, classic nature and poignant storytelling.

<< Continued from "March Preview (Part 1)" March 21Divergent is the latest young-adult adaptation geared toward fans of the Twilight and Hunger Games franchises. Confident that it's going to be a hit, distributor Lionsgate has already hired a director for the second installment, and put the third and final movie on the release schedule in 2016. Of course, getting audiences to show up for a young-adult adaptation is easier said than done, and in the past year there have been four separate failures: Beautiful Creatures, The Host, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Vampire Academy. At this point, it's pretty clear that Divergent isn't destined for the same fate. All three books in author Veronica Roth's series have been in the Top 10 on Amazon for a lengthy period of time, and it's safe to say that its fanbase is significantly larger than that of other recent would-be franchises. Recognizing this, Lionsgate...

As his first sitcom since Spin City screens in the Us, the Back to the Future star says being diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 30 saved him from alcoholism and possibly divorce
When Michael J Fox walks into the reception of his office in New York, he arrives like a bantam-weight boxer ready for a fight. From the "in case you missed it" files: M Night Shyamalan claims he ghost wrote the "Pygmalion"-inspired teen rom-com "She's All That" starring Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook. Seriously.
The rather random revelation comes from an interview Shyamalan did last month with Movies.com during the promotion for his latest critically-maligned box office disappointment, "After Earth." He was trying to prove his range as a storyteller because "She's All That" was released in 1999 -- the same year as family hit "Stuart Little" (which Shyamalan has a writing credit on) and the Oscar-nominated blockbuster "The Sixth Sense" (which made Shyamalan's career).
Instead, it's just more proof that most movies Shyamalan is involved with aren't actually any good.
We also don't know how the credited writer of "She's All That" -- R. Lee Fleming -- feels about this. Fleming has since gone on to write for TV's "One Tree Hill" and "The Lying Game,...

M Night Shyamalan ghost-wrote She's All That, it has emerged.
The After Earth director has revealed that he worked on the 1999 teen romance comedy.
His breakout hit The Sixth Sense arrived in the same year, as well as Stuart Little, which he also wrote.
She's All That was a modern reinterpretation of George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion starring Freddie Prinze, Jr, Rachael Leigh Cook and Matthew Lillard. Shyamalan confirmed to Movies.com that he worked on the movie.
The director recently said that he is considering a sequel to 2000's Unbreakable.
After Earth stars Will and Jaden Smith as a father and son stranded on a future Earth that has been abandoned by mankind.
It arrives in Us cinemas on May 31 and in the UK on June 7. Watch Shyamalan chat to DS about the movie below:...

After several hits in a row, M Night Shyamalan's credibility has pretty vanished due to such disappointments as "Lady in the Water," "The Happening," "The Last Airbender" and "After Earth." And now that he's considering returning to the projects that made him a top director in Hollywood, like a sequel to "Unbreakable," Shyamalan also spoke about movies that he wrote before "The Sixth Sense." Most people don't know that he wrote "Stuart Little" because he was hired as a ghostwriter, a person who does the work but the credit goes to someone else. But there was another movie that he wrote that's rarely associated with him. "I ghost-wrote a movie the same year [as 'The Sixth Sense'], but I don't know if I want to tell you which movie I ghost-wrote," he laughed, then quickly stating: "I ghost-wrote the movie 'She's All That.'" Under continuous pressure from cat film fans worldwide, online distributor Distrify has finally introduced a fully translated version of the Distrify player in Lingua Feline. Cats are fiercely independent creatures and this innovation allows them to select and watch films without the help of their owners for the first time in history.
"With the rising popularity of cat videos online, we realized we had to meet the demand and make the video player available in a language that our fans could understand," said Distrify's CEO Peter Gerard.
Cats around the world are now able to paw at their tablets and start streaming classic films like Cat Ladies, The Lion King, The Aristocats, Garfield, Cat People, Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, Fritz the Cat, The Cat in the Hat, as well as watch the glamorous A-listers such as Blofeld’s right-hand in the Bond films, Jonesy in Alien, Snowbell in Stuart Little, Mr Bigglesworth in Austin Powers, Sassy in Homeward Bound, Cat in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Mir Jinx in Meet the Parents, Jake in The Cat From Outer Space, all from the comfort of their own litter box or sofa.
When asked for comment Bali, a film aficionado from Barnet enthusiastically said, "Meow meow meow Distrify meow. Meow, meow, awards, meow, meow, Palm Dog, meow, discrimination, meow, puurrrrrrrrr."

Distrify is the fast-growing online cinema with integrated viral marketing tools offering filmmakers and distributors the opportunity to reach audiences worldwide.
The Distrify model turns every trailer for a film into an instant VoD player allowing the customer on discovering a film to click ‘rent’ or ‘buy’. Film fans are rewarded for sharing trailers with their contacts and film critics, online publishers and film fans are able to curate their favourite film collections and earn money for their efforts. Not only does Distrify offer international distribution, but it also ensures that the majority of the revenue earned back by films is passed back to the filmmaker.
Distrify has announced a number of audience development projects in recent weeks all showing how the platform is pioneering direct-to-fan online film distribution.
Distrify is setting up an online platform for the BFI Production Board Collection which will offer audiences worldwide to classics from the collection of 300 films. Creative Scotland is using Distrify to promote and offer the Scottish Film Collection to national and international audiences. The Bangalore-based portal hometalkies.com is using Distrify to premiere films to the Indian diaspora. The Glasgow Film Theatre and the Edinburgh Filmhouse are using Distrify to explore cinema-curated Video on Demand (VoD) for a slate of six films. Distrify has provided the platform for Lgbt film distributor Wolfe Video’s WolfeOnDemand.com. Distrify is partnering The Guardian and international film distributors to offer films such as Terry’s Gilliam’s The Wholly Family.
The Distrify model and technology has been pioneered by co-founders Peter Gerard and Andy Green.
Peter Gerard is an award-winning film producer whose films played at festivals, sold for international broadcast, and downloaded tens of thousands of times. He has also specialised in Rich Internet Applications development and has designed and programmed award-winning eCommerce and eCommunity applications for large financial institutions, governmental organisations, and commercial clients. He built the website for The D-Word online community of documentary professionals and is regularly invited to speak on panels throughout Europe and the Us.
Andy Green is an award-winning film editor and producer whose experience includes promos, commercials, broadcast documentaries and short dramas. As an independent producer his films have won several awards including Best Short Documentary prizes at the Palm Springs and San Francisco film festivals. Having developed three screenplays, all of which were funded, Andy has been featured as an up-and-coming producer at the Eiff/Scottish Executive “Features Scotland” Expo.
Distrify chairman David Nicholas Wilkinson, founder of the Guerilla companies, has an award-winning track record in film/TV and theatre production; cinema/DVD/VOD/airline/TV/online distribution; book publishing, as well as event management. An award-winning actor, he has starred in film/TV/theatre productions, has produced and/or distributed almost 150 feature films and has advised on financing for more than 300 feature film projects.

I have very faint memories of watching the animated Heathcliff series on television when I was a kid, but a whole new audience is about to experience the wise-cracking cat on the big screen. Waterman Entertainment, the company responsible for bringing Alvin and the Chipmunks, Stuart Little, and Casper to theaters, has acquired the screen rights for Heathcliff, based on the 1973 comic strip that was eventually turned into two animated series in the early 1980s. Waterman also plans to produce 13 original TV episodes starring the orange, furry feline who has a penchant for brawling and harassing city employees. More below! For those of you who are unfamiliar, Wikipedia says Heathcliff "is an orange street smart cat, who spends most of his time trying to turn a dustbin over onto people's heads. Heathcliff is a real street cat who loves to fight anyone and everyone and will lie, cheat and ...

This one takes me back. Of all the remakes that get announced, it's the ones that revive movies from my childhood that are usually the most enraging. The Rocketeer is just one example, but now and animated favorite from my childhood is heading into the remake oven. The Wrap reports a company called Waterman Entertainment, who has executive produced films like Casper and Stuart Little, are working on a computer animated/live-action hybrid remake of The Brave Little Toaster. But that's not all. They are also working on a new take of Born Free, which will tell the story from the perspective of the lion. Read on! First, with The Brave Little Toaster, the original film followed a group of home appliances, a toaster, a blanket, a lamp, a radio, and a vacuum cleaner, who journey to the city to find their master after being abandoned in their cabin in the woods.

Waterman Entertainment has acquired the right to "The Brave Little Toaster" and is planning to turn the property into a CGI/live-action hybrid feature, a representative of the company told TheWrap. The acquisition comes as Waterman, launched in 1999, has put together a development fund through private equity, which is enabling it to expand its operation. Waterman Entertainment was originally focused on executive producing family entertainment properties and has worked on a number of high-profile films, including "Stuart Little" and "Casper." Now Waterman will also develop and acquire family entertainment projects, which few companies...

Its been revealed that a CGI/live-action hybrid , similar to the Alvin and the Chipmunks, Stuart Little and Smurfs movies, of the animated Disney film is now in the works. Based on a children's tale by science-fiction author Thomas M. Disch, The Brave Little Toaster is an animated family that tells the story of a gang of household appliances including a toaster, lamp, vacuum cleaner and electric blanket who set off for the big city to find their young master after he thoughtlessly leaves them in his summer cabin. According to Waterman Entertainment CEO Tucker Waterman, the company has purchased the rights to the property as part of their new development initiative "to acquire, option and develop well-recognized family properties and brands that adhere to specific elements that we deem...

Waterman Entertainment has acquired the film rights to Thomas Disch's 1980 novel “The Brave Little Toaster" with plans to turn it into a CGI/live-action hybrid feature akin to previous family films they've been involved in including "Stuart Little” and “Alvin and the Chipmunks" reports The Wrap.
Following the adventures of a toaster, a vacuum cleaner, a lamp and a blanket, "The Brave Little Toaster" was previously made into a traditionally animated film by Hyperion Pictures in 1987. This reboot will be updated to also include technology that didn’t exist back in 1987, including the iPhone.
The deal comes as Waterman assembles a development fund to acquire, option and develop family entertainment projects that "we deem suitable to create CGI/live action hybrid films".
This also includes the rights to "Born Free - The Story of Elsa The Lion" which will be told from the animal’s perspective.

Michael Bond's polite bear from Peru will have to dust off his duffle coat as his live action/CGI debut, directed by Paul King, gets the go-ahead

Well, Hank Moody's plan to turn down Samurai did not go as scripted, but somehow taking a punch from Peter Berg came across like a fitting moment in this week's "The Way of the Fist." Just like driving a Porsche with both headlights intact seemed out of character for Hank last episode, it didn't really feel like the season was under way until Hank got into fisticuffs with someone.
Despite the fresh shiner, Hank still seemed off his game when he decided against telling Becca about Tyler's extra curricular activities at the club. The overly protective Hank has given Becca numerous reasons to hate him over the years, so why in this case would he care about hurting her one more time if it served to only benefit her in the end? It should always be counted a massive tragedy that Michael J Fox was robbed of the opportunity to make more films by his health, because he made some of the best family films of his generation, in the Back to the Future Trilogy, as well as other classics like Teen Wolf, The Secret of My Suce$s and Doc Hollywood. Okay, so not everything he touched was gold, but the actor who rescued Marty McFly from the evils of being ginger and unfunny (from Eric Stoltz of course) has such an easy charisma that even now when he appears in cameos and brief guest runs on TV (where his career trajectory has found comfort since 1996 and Spin City) it’s hard not to love him.
And just before he stopped making movies (aside from voice work for Stuart Little and Atlantis) the same year that Spin City arrived on the small screen,...

Wanted star Chris Pratt and his actress wife Anna Faris have been targeted by pet lovers for attempting to find a new home for their old cat on Twitter.com.
The actors are too busy to properly care for the ageing pet and so Pratt took to the site to find Bella a new owner.
In a recent post, he wrote, "Anyone in the La area want a cat? Full disclosure, she's old and prone to accidents. So sweet though. And was in (the movie) Stuart Little. (literally)... She is very sweet and needs a good home. We have pugs (dogs) and she's too old to deal (with them). She needs one on one attention."
But his thoughtful actions have provoked a storm of protest - and he has even received death threats for using the social networking site as a place to search for a cat caretaker.
In a post on his personal website, the actor writes, "I found my aging (sic) cat a god d**m loving home! Ease up with the death threats for heaven’s sake!...
"Bottom line, and not that this is any of your f**king business weirdos, but my wife and I want to start a family and we Absolutely Cannot have an animal that s**ts all over the house. Sorry. If you are a parent you will understand. And if not, that probably explains why you have such a hard on (erection) for cats. Just sayin’.
"I mean, really? So what I used twitter to give away our pet? I have some people who follow me and I thought maybe somebody would be thrilled to have my old cat. And guess what… Somebody was! Her name is Meghan and as far as I could tell she is a perfectly reasonable, sweet and friendly cat lover.
"I met her to make sure she wasn’t a weirdo before handing the cat over. She is from the same area of the country that my wife and I are from. She has no other pets and was fully aware of Bella’s problems. And despite all that, still opened up her home!... So please! Stop with the harassing tweets! That s**t affects me. I’m human."...

Once upon a time, Pierre "Peyo" Culliford created his little blue characters, originally called "Schtroumpfs," which stood three apples high and resided in mushroom houses within the Magical Forest. Those who grew up in the 1980s will remember these creatures as brought to life within the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series; and now Hollywood is doing the forseeable thing by cashing in on nostalgia. In terms of similarities with their predecessors, these creatures are still blue and speak in the same incessant "Smurf" language, but now they've hit the big screen in an eerie CGI form. Director Raja Gosnel (Beverly Hills Chihuahua) is a natural at the live-action/CGI combo, but that's more of a curse than a blessing when one considers that there are already whispers from Columbia Pictures that this movie is the first in a planned trilogy. For this particular film's story, the Smurfs hit the Big Apple; and as a result,...

There’s a simple reason for kids to like the Stuart Little movies, the modern Alvin And The Chipmunks franchise, and the new live-action movie The Smurfs: They can identify with the animated protagonists, who are all impulsive, curious, undersized and out of their element in an adult-scale world, and surrounded by judgmental big people who regularly get shrill and screechy over every teensy little furniture-smashing mistake. That explains the frantic behavior of the title characters in The Smurfs: As they dash around displaying no impulse control, little sense of self-preservation, and a tendency to yammer out whatever’s on ...

Even though it seems like Thor has barely had time to hammer in a nail, Hawkeye hardly a moment to go all a quiver (that’s an archery joke), Captain America nary thrown his first celluloid shield and Mark Ruffalo is yet to Hulk out after a couple of face-lifts, the Marvel machine is drumming up fervent fanboy excitement over the Joss Whedon helmed 2012 superhero team-up that is The Avengers. And, boy, do I find it hard to really get excited.
Sure, from an Ocean’s Eleven point of view it’ll be nice to see these actors sparring with one another, and despite my personal distaste for Whedon’s work he can at least write banter, and in the mouths of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, et al, maybe they’ll lend it more sparkle than the likes of Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz and Alyson Hannigan.

Gilmore Girls premiered season three on September 24, 2002. It kicked off with drama, as Rory came home for her last year of high school to find Jess with another girl. Later on, she dealt with boy problems between Jess and Dean, along with the non-stop comedy from her family.
In addition, Lorelai dealt with some issues of her own. Between her hilarious arguments with Emily, and "motherly talks" with Rory, there was never a boring moment when she was in the scene!
Want to go back and remember some of the most hilarious moments from Season 3? We've posted the most memorable Gilmore Girls quotes from that time below:
Lorelai: (about Emily's manipulative tactics) She's like Lyndon Johnson with the Senate. Effortless. | permalink Young Christopher: (in flashback, about baby Rory) She's pretty.
Young Lorelai: She's perfect.
Young Christopher: I guess this means we have to get married now. | permalink Jess: If a horse-drawn carriage shows up here,...
