Today in "these are actual television shows airing on actual networks": Tlc's documentaries 'Losing One of My Giant Legs' and 'The 8-Limbed Boy.'
To be honest, all we know about 'Losing One of My Giant Legs' comes from the description on Tlc's site: "Mandy Sellars lives with legs three times the average size, but a near-fatal infection forces her to have one leg amputated." But really, we were sold from the title alone.
Same with 'The 8-Limbed Boy' -- the title is descriptive enough for us to figure it out for ourselves. But in case you were wondering, the official description reads: "Six year old Deepak has lived his entire life with a parasitic twin joined to his chest, putting his future under threat as they age. Now a surgeon has offered him a chance to live without his twin, but it's a chance that carries a life-threatening risk.
