Steven Glazer

Born in Kalamazoo, MI to Michael and Cynthia Glazer and raised in
Climax, MI. He is the youngest of 3 children, with an older brother,
Mike, and sister, Jenny.
He attended Climax-Scotts Schools for grades K-5, St. Phillip Catholic School for grade 6, and Lakeview Schools for grades 7-12. Throughout grades 9-12 he spent half of his day at Lakeview Schools getting his general education and attended the Battle Creek Area Mathematics and Science Center (BCAMSC). During his childhood, he had always had a passion for fixing things, problem solving, and computers. Throughout grade school, he taught himself several computing languages and decided to focus his secondary education on Computer Science.
He enrolled in Rochester Institute of Technology in fall of 2006. He excelled at RIT and began looking for job opportunities. He sent resumes and letters of interest out to several companies during his second year. With 3 job opportunities, he choose to fly out to Los Angeles to work for Sony Pictures Imageworks. He worked as an intern for 3 months, during the summer. Returning to RIT, he had made some very helpful connections and learned a lot. During his 3rd year, Sony had asked him to return to LA to help work on a project for 9 months. He left school to work for Sony again as a full time paid employee. After 9 months, he returned to RIT to finish work on his bachelor's degree. After his 4th year, he again returned to Sony to work for 3 months, during the summer. During this time he worked on several projects and had the chance to work with awesome teams. He returned in 2010 to continue his education. He is now working on his Masters degree in Computer Science with concentrations in American Sign Language and Computer Graphics, and a minor in Environmental Studies. He holds a 3.97 GPA and was awarded the Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar award.
