Dead Sound, directed by Tony Glazer (Junction) tells the story of four best friends who decide to attend a massive blow-out high school graduation party on Block Island. After missing the last ferry they decide to hire a fishing boat to take them on what should be a simple journey. What they get is the trip from hell, with a captain and his first mate that have no intention of taking the kids to Block Island, putting them into a fight to survive and to simply make it back to land… any land.
It would seem, given the recent release of Harpoon, Blood Vessel, the Gary Oldman-starrer Mary, and now Dead Sound, that horror set...

Premium Rush Trailer. David Koepp‘s Premium Rush (2012) movie trailer stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Shannon, Jamie Chung, Dania Ramirez, and Aasif Mandvi. Premium Rush‘s plot synopsis: “Dodging speeding cars, crazed cabbies, open doors, and eight million cranky pedestrians is all in a day’s work for Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), the best of New York’s agile and aggressive bicycle messengers. It takes a special breed to ride the fixie — super lightweight, single-gear bikes with no brakes and riders who are equal part skilled cyclists and suicidal nutcases who risk becoming a smear on the pavement every time they head into traffic.
But a guy who’s used to putting his life on the line is about to get more than even he is used to when a routine delivery turns into a life or death chase through the streets of Manhattan. When Wilee picks up his last envelope of...

In slightly less dramatic scheduling news than the NBC kerfuffle involving Law & Order: Los Angeles, CBS has announced that they're moving the premiere of Mad Love up a week to...you guessed it, Valentine's Day according to TV Guide. The move is said to be strictly for marketing purposes.
Mad Love has had an interesting history, as it was an off-cycle pick-up for the network and has experienced significant cast turn over in its short life. Before even a frame was shot, out went Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights), Tony winner Dan Fogler (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and Ashley Austin Morris (The Electric Company); in came Sarah Chalke (Scrubs), Tyler Labine (Reaper), and Lizzy Caplan (Party Down). You'd think that would be it, but Caplan had only agreed to guest star, so Judy Greer (Archer) came on to finalize the cast for good. Rounding things out are...

iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove is all grown up, and she'll be appearing on a brand new episode of The Good Wife on November 16. A few weeks ago CBS released promo photos of Miranda's upcoming guest appearance on The Good Wife (and we posted them here). Now, the network has released a trailer which showcases a few scenes from the episode.
Despite the fact that there seem to be a few cheesy lines in the trailer below (something The Good Wife doesn't usually fall prey to that often), I think this will be a great episode and will hopefully showcase Miranda's dramatic acting talents. Based on the list of guest stars, it also looks like we might be seeing more of Peter and his political story this week.

It’s no secret we love TV. We watch it, talk about it, review it and generally spend a lot of time with it. So, it should come as no surprise we’re very interested in what new shows may potentially be coming to the networks in the near future.
Fortunately, we don’t have to do a lot of work to find out, and you have to do even less, because the guys and gals at EW have gathered together lists of all of the 2010-2011 season pilot orders for ABC, CBS and NBC. Wasn’t that nice of them? Yes, yes it was.
Just between these three networks (we’ll bring you Fox and the others, including cable, later), 31 dramas and 29 comedies are being considered. What shows will make it to the Fall schedule is still anyone’s guess, and we’ll have to wait until May to find out,...

CBS may have created two of the most popular new series this season - NCIS: La and The Good Wife - but the network still has some bare spots to contend with (we hardly knew ye, Three Rivers!) Not one to stray from its bread and butter shows, the network's got a Criminal Minds spinoff in the works plus a new project from CSI honcho Carol Mendelsohn, but all eyes are on its redux of Hawaii Five-o starring Lost's Daniel Dae Kim. And don't think CBS is resting on its laurels with the (unfathomable) success of Gary, Unmarried...
