James Mead(I)
- Stunts
- Additional Crew
James was born in Tucson,AZ on Feb 17th 1972.
He was first experience in the entertainment industry, was as an extra in the movie Kidco (1984).
In Junior High and High School he studied all aspects of theater, but spent more time on the stage. During Highschool he played the lead in several plays, including Rebel without a Cause and A Separate Peace. After High School he landed a job at Old Tucson Studios for their annual Halloween Event: Nightfall.
He had originally auditioned to be a stunt-performer, but was not selected to fill that position during or after the production. He returned the next year to try again, and once again was turned down, however a few months later he auditioned the 3rd time (3rd time's the charm they say), and finally was accepted. During his time at Old Tucson Studios, he did some work for several movies and commercials that came through, but never managed to land a large enough roll in those major productions to lend any real credit to his career. He did extra work in Tank Girl, Lightning Jack, Legend (TV Series), Timemaster, and Under the Hula Moon, as well as several commercials and music videos that were shot at Old Tucson between 1993-1995. The last production where he actually received some credit, was Al's Beef, starring Jordan Ladd and Dean Stockwell.
Between 2003-2005, James spent time in Germany working in stuntshows at Warner Bros. MovieWorld (now MoviePark Germany). Between 2007-2013, James either performed, managed and/or produced several Live shows worldwide for Mirage Entertainment Inc. Most of this time was spent in China, though he did spend some time in Taiwan, the Philippines, and India.
In 2013, he returned to his roots and now works for a company that creates and supports websites for several DMO's.
