Sixteen year old Harry Styles managed to divide the X Factor judges, when he auditioned in Manchester earlier this year.
The teenager, from Chesire, told the panel that he is currently the lead singer in his school band ‘White Eskimo’ and his biggest claim to fame is winning a battle of the bands competition in 2009.
Harry sang Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder for Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and guest judge Nicole Scherzinger and shockingly, considering the fact that he is a young boy, singing an old song, boyband enthusiast Walsh wasn’t impressed.
Judges Comments:
Nicole: I’m really glad we had the opportunity to hear you acapella. We could really hear how great your voice is. For 16 years old you have a beautiful voice.
Louis: I agree with Nicole, however I think you’re so young, I don’t think you have enough experience or confidence yet.

However judge Piers Morgan has tipped them to be the next Take That and Ant told The Sun:
“Simon is probably already picturing them packing out arenas in a year’s time!”

If Connected walk away with the Britain’s Got Talent crown this year, it won’t be the first prize the boys have picked up. Two of the four piece group, brother Max and Harry Mondryk, are well known regulars on the UK talent show circuit and have beaten stars like Faryl Smith in the past.
Together the sibling duo won the 2007 title for Talented Youngster of the Year and in 2009 Harry won it as a solo singer. Harry also won Festival of Stars in 2007, beating opera singer and Britain’s Got Talent star Faryl Smith and made it to the final 50 for last years BBC reality TV show, I’d Do Anything as he tried to land the role of Oliver.
A source told The Sun: “Max and Harry are very well known on the circuit.
“They’re a really professional act and have been cleaning up for years.

Britain’s Got Talent boyband Connected have insisted that they chose their own outfits for their audition which aired on Saturday night.
On the ITV show we saw the teenagers impress Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan with their song and dance routine (Video Here), but Simon Cowell told them:
“You’re all very cute and look good together but here’s the bad news – this is 15 years out of date.”
He added: “This has definitely come from your mums, what you’re wearing.”
13 year old Miles insisted to The Sun: “Our mums didn’t actually pick our outfits – we did. We love Westlife and we wanted that sort of look.

Boyband Connected may have wowed the judges and audience on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent, but the youngsters have since admitted that they were incredibly nervous because they had never performed in public together before.
Earlier today we revealed that band member Harry Mondryk has previously auditioned for all three series of Bgt, but never made it past the final 150. While at stage school, he and his brother Max joined forces with Conor, Matt and Miles just five months ago and ‘Connected’ never performed publicly before their audition for the ITV show.

Boyband Connected stormed the Britain’s Got Talent stage tonight with their performance of the Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want It That Way.’
Conor 13, Matt 12, Harry 13, Max 15 and Miles 13 told the judges:
“We’re Connected, the reason why we’re called ‘Connected’ is because we are all like family, we’re brothers, twins and friends”
“A lot of kids have different hobbies to us, many like football or other sports but we get our kicks from singing”
“Our dream for Connected is to be the next boyband of the new decade, recording singles, albums, it’s an absolute dream for us”
They’re a great little band and I swear I saw pound signs flash in Simon Cowell’s eyes as he watched just how the crowd reacted to the teenage cuties. After they sang Mr C called them “15 years out of date”, and I could almost see the words Justin Bieber forming on his lips.
