Even without the supercharged Infinity Stones, Thanos is (was?) still a pretty formidable foe.
Not that we saw much of the Mad Titan in action prior to Avengers: Infinity War, mind you, given Josh Brolin’s musing mega-villain spent his time ruminating on his levitating space throne. It wasn’t until Infinity War – both the film and the intergalactic battle over those precious ingots – that fans were given a taste of Thanos’ immense power.
Had things panned out differently, though, Avengers: Endgame would’ve included a scene for 2014 Thanos to help put that near-limitless power into perspective. As revealed within the pages of The Art of Avengers: Endgame (h/t ScreenRant), concept illustrator Josh Nizzi detailed an alternate entrance for Marvel’s Mad Titan.

Golem Gates, a card-based Rts title, is set to release on Steam in early access very soon. If you haven't heard of Golem Gates and are looking for an exciting new Rts game with an exciting twist, look no further than this article! Cinelinx has the scoop on what Golem Gates has in store and when you can get your hands on it.
As a Rts game lover, I usually go back to classics like Rise of Nations, not only is it one of the best Rts games out there, but because it can be hard to find a good new Rts title to really sink your teeth into these days. That being said, I'm interested in what Golem Gates has to offer, especially with its card-based gameplay. Below is some more information on this upcoming title, along with early access and official release dates.

Arnim Zola's reappearance in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier was a big surprise for fans, with the character revealed to have survived death by transferring his consciousness into a computer. While Zola was (seemingly) annihilated when the secret S.H.I.E.L.D. bunker was blown to smithereens by Hydra, it turns out there was another planned appearance for the conniving villain. Artist Josh Nizzi has released some new concept art from Marvel's Ant-Man on his website which shows that Zola was meant to be in the film, with an even more comic-accurate robotic body, no less. Prior to the release of Ant-Man in 2015, Latino Review had reported that an early draft of the script featured both Arnim Zola and a young Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford) present in the S.H.I.E.L.D. meeting we witness at the beginning of the film. Of course, the film...

Both Ultron and Iron Man's Hulkbuster armour in Avengers: Age of Ultron ended up looking pretty perfect, but things could have been a lot different based on the concept art below by Josh Nizzi. However, unlike most alternate designs where there are some real stinkers, all of these variants are pretty damn amazing and have awesome qualities it would have been fun to see on the big screen. The six armed Ultron is without a doubt a highlight, as are some of those Hulkbusters (the one with the grey wiring on display is probably my favourite). More concept art can be found by clicking on the link below - there are new designs for Tony Stark's Iron Legion, Baron von Strucker, and the Hydra soldiers - but be sure to let us know what you think of those featured here in the comments section. ...

There’s a lot of good superhero movies out there, and a few that sucked. But before any of these could come to fruition, they had to go through a lengthy development phase. Herein, some very eye-catching images are usually cooked up by concept designers, as the filmmakers attempt to nail down their vision with the help of some talented artists.
Sometimes, the directors and the studios can see which designs are blatantly the best and decide to run with that. But on other occasions, bad choices are made and awesome concept art ideas end up ditched in favour of cheaper, less interesting designs that will be easier for the studio to produce.
As a salute to some of the best designs that went ignored, here are ten pieces of unused superhero movie concept art that are better than those which actually reached the cinema screen…

While the Daredevil Netflix series has received near-universal acclaim from fans and critics alike, most seem to be relatively split on the design of the actual suit itself. Some even went so far as to say that the suit ruined the series (which, let's be honest, is silly). Anyway, as many know, things like suits go through many drafts before the filmmakers settle on the final designs, and believe it or not Daredevil was no exception.
Josh Nizzi, one of the concept artists recently released two images on his site that showed alternate versions of the suit.
Check them out below:
As you can see, the first image is incredibly different from what we saw in the show. It's much closer to the spirit of the comics, for sure, but also a lot less grounded--and probably a lot more difficult to pull off in the real world. The final suit...

Concept artist Josh Nizzi has released a pair of earlier designs for the final suit in Netflix's "Marvel's Daredevil" TV series, showing off concept art for the superhero suit seen in the final episode of the first season.
The two designs show two extremes - the first more akin to the look of the comic, the second a more armored and tone down look. The ultimate design is closer to the second but reincorporated some of the elements of the first design back in such as the horns and stronger red emphasis. "Daredevil" returns for its second season on March 18th.

Marvel concept artist Josh Nizzi released these two unused versions of Matt Murdock’s Daredevil costume from the Netflix series. I like the different looks of each of the designs, and it’s interesting to see what we could have seen Daredevil wear in the series. I really like the more classic, fully red costume, but I like the final design used in the series more. That seemed to work perfectly for what they were looking to accomplish in the series. What do you think of these designs?
I also included a brief new promo spot for Daredevil that teases the introduction of The Punisher. As the screen fades to black near the end, The Punisher, aka Frank Castle, can be heard cocking his gun and then he says, "Bang!" It’s not much, but it’s enough to tide us over until we see something more.

"These are some initial passes done for the big baddie, Ultron. What a crazy fun project to work on," Avengers: Age of Ultron artist Andy Park says on his Facebook page about the following pieces of artwork. "I don't get to do the more robotic designs that often here given our resident robot experts in Ryan Meinerding, Phil Saunders, along with Josh Nizzi and Josh Herman. But when I do get a chance I just savor the moment. Too much fun!" Do you think these designs are better than what ended up in the sequel? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place. Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson and hits DVD and Blu-ray this year.

Our first glimpse of Charlie Cox suited up in his red Daredevil costume drew a mixed response from fans, but after seeing him in action in the final episode of the brilliant Netflix series they seemed to warm to it for the most part. The Man Without Fear may well sport a different look again when he returns for his second season, but until then we have a look at some awesome concept art from Marvel's go-to poster/concept designer Ryan Meinerding, who worked with the likes of Rodney Fuentebella, Andy Park, Joe Quesada, Jackson Sze, Josh Nizzi, and Anthony Francisco to come up with outfit that suited the "grounded, street-level tone of the series." “The tone that was really communicated was the sense of realism that they were going for,” Meinerding relates to Marvel.com. “I think the way that [manifested itself in] the costume was through the armor and making it...

Exclusive: Carolco producer Mario Kassar talks to us about his forthcoming sci-fi action film, Bot. Here are the first details.
In its 80s and 90s heyday, Carolco and its studio co-founder Mario Kassar specialised in such larger-than-life blockbusters as Rambo: First Blood Part II, Total Recall and Terminator 2.
Twenty years on, and the Carolco brand has been revived by Kassar and new CEO Alex Bafer, with one of its first projects being a new incarnation of the fearsome horror-drama, Audition. Beyond that, Bafer also hinted at something more akin to Carolco's sci-fi action films of old; it is, he said, "a Terminator-type sci-fi summer blockbuster."
That film now has a name: it's called Bot, and it's the first in a potential trilogy of movies penned by Tedi Sarafian - the story writer behind, among other things, 2003's Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.

With summer blockbuster season shifting into high gear, it seems like ages since Captain America: The Winter Soldier was wowing Marvel fans at the box office. Some were so impressed by the feature they christened it “the best film in the Marvel universe” – and now it’s sort of been pushed out of the spotlight by movies like Godzilla and X-Men: Days of Future Past. Your time in the limelight is short in the movie business, it seems. However, we can revisit the magic of Cap’s latest adventure before it hits Blu-ray this coming September by checking out these newly revealed pieces of concept art that come from artist Josh Nizzi’s website. Hollywood blockbusters undergo a seemingly endless number of changes as they work their way through development on to the silver screen. Studios regularly provide notes to screenwriters through the pre-production phase and order major rewrites, and as a result some movies end up being completely unrecognizable from their original concepts. Sometimes major characters that appear in a first draft are completely absent by the time the final cut has been finished, and judging from concept art by artist Josh Nizzi, it would appear that happened to the comic book character Valkyrie in Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World. With the Marvel Studios film having been released a couple months ago now, Nizzi took to his official website (via Yahoo! UK) and posted a series of concept art designs that he had been commissioned to draw when the Thor sequel was still in its earliest stages. The designs are pretty...

Check out this awesome design created by Josh Nizzi for a character that didn't make it into Thor: The Dark World. It's of the Norse warrior goddess Valkyrie, a.k.a. Brunnhilde. The character first appeared in The Avengers #83 in 1970 and is part of the superhero team known as the Defenders. it would have been really cool to see this character brought to life in Thor: The Dark World, but if they were thinking about introducing her in this film, then I'm sure somewhere down the line they will get her up on the big screen kicking some ass. Both "The Avengers" and "The Amazing Spider-Man" have come and gone from theaters, but it seems as though we still haven't seen the last of these two projects. New concept art from both films has surfaced, offering us interesting new looks at movies we loved when they came out last year.

The year 2013 isn’t even two weeks old yet, but so far we’d label this as the year of Spider-Man concept art. Last week, we featured some newly uncovered designs of Dr. Curt Connors as the Lizard that were originally intended for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2. Today, we’ve got some other concept art for an action sequence that never made it into Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man. The newest artwork, recently revealed on artist Josh Nizzi’s website, features a massive battle between Spidey and the Lizard that takes place on a double-decker tourist bus careening through NYC before crashing through barricades and winding up on the ice rink at Rockefeller Center. We’ve no idea why this set piece didn’t make it into the final film...

Check out this incredibly cool set of concept art created for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man. The illustrations were done by artist Josh Nizzi, and it shows off a chase scene that takes place in New York City that was cut from the film. It features a fight between Spider-Man and The Lizard on a tour bus that crashes into the Rockefeller Center ice rink. The image directly below shows The Lizard using a chameleon-like quality to blend into a digital billboard, which is a cool concept we never saw in the movie. This is a really cool scene that I'm sure would have looked great on the big screen!

In the summer, when we featured Josh Nizzi's concept art for The Amazing Spider-Man we saw some pieces depicting a New York chase scene that was cut. At that time we saw a double decker bus, and The Lizard using a chameleon-like quality to blend into a digital billboard. I liked that image so much I included it below even though it's not "new", but it does help illustrate the missing scene. Now, Josh has updated his website, JoshNizzi.com, with even more images from that scene giving us a much better look. The bus, which is used for tourists that are sightseeing in the big apple, becomes the location of an epic fight scene between Spidey and the Lizard. During this battle the bus loses control and ends up crashing through some barriers, finally landing on the rink at Rockefeller Center. Click Images To Enlarge Image Of Camouflage...

The day will come when "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" will be studied in film classes and shown at cult film festivals. It will be seen, in retrospect, as marking the end of an era. Of course there will be many more CGI-based action epics, but never again one this bloated, excessive, incomprehensible, long (149 minutes) or expensive (more than $200 million). Like the dinosaurs, the species has grown too big to survive, and will be wiped out in a cataclysmic event, replaced by more compact, durable forms.

According to the site, seven construction vehicles merge to form the huge Devastator, who’s described as having “lots of upper body strength, like a gorilla.” Also of note is the fact that the vehicles that make up Devastator are not just green, but red and yellow as well. TFW2005 also claims that this concept art of the Constructicon “Long Haul” by Josh Nizzi is legit. We’ll find out when Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen , starring Shia Labeouf, Megan Fox, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel , Tyrese Gibson, Rainn Wilson , Matthew Marsden, Andrew Howard and Ramon Rodriguez, opens on June 29th!
