- He loves the Nightmare on Elm Street saga and especially Robert Englund, whom he believes to be a fantastic actor, and responsible for making the saga so famous.
- He discovered that he wanted to be a film director after seeing Matrix, the day of the premiere (in Spain, June 23, 1999).
- He worked on improving and adding some scenes to the Super Bomberos script, at the request of his friend and partner Andrew Dasz. He was not credited for it.
- He lives with his cat "Doctor Jones" since 2011. The name is a cross between Indiana Jones (Doctor Henry Jones Jr.) and Jones (Jonesy), the cat from "Alien".
