Pretty Little Liars fans are used to “A” sending threatening messages, typically of the text variety. But actually speaking out loud? That’s a new one.

This Riverdale review contains spoilers.
Riverdale Season 6 Episode 14
“Welcome to the sad superhero club…”
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a…shirtless Archie Andrews! With its latest installment, Riverdale‘s current superhero saga proved that it isn’t afraid to liberally borrow tried and true superhero tropes in order to advance the storyline of Archie’s mighty crusaders squaring off against the increasingly diabolical (and somewhat annoyingly impervious) Percival Pickens. As a lifelong Archie Comicsfanatic, I’ll admit that it is a bit jarring to hear these characters namecheck their DC characters, but it is all in service to the grand storyline here…not to mention corporate synergy. (Warner Bros owns DC Comics and half of The CW itself).
So quicker than you can say “Berlantiverse,” this latest episode had Archie and Jughead browsing the latter’s comic collection when they stumble upon the idea that...

People can't seem to get enough of James Gunn's superhero show about John Cena's "Peacemaker," a series that effortlessly incorporates a world needing hi-tech laboratories, white-trash white supremacy dens from the 1980s, maximalist trailer homes, secret task force vehicles, and fully-furnished apartments belonging to hot babes possessed by butterfly aliens. The attention to detail paid by the production team of "Peacemaker" is incredible, and just about every object, record sleeve, poster, and product label is meant to push the story forward or give deeper insight to the characters. During a recent interview with "Peacemaker" production designer Lisa Soper, we found out that even Peacemaker's...

Production designer Lisa Soper compares working on "Peacemaker" to a roller coaster: It's big and fast, sometimes daunting, but an absolute thrill. Once she got off the roller coaster, as she put it, she just wanted to go back on it again and again. For the production designer, the series was pure forward-momentum, as well as "incredibly, incredibly rewarding."
Whether creating a high-tech lab out of Ikea items, telling great artists to do a bad job, or taking a hammer to sets, Soper more than enjoyed creating this world with James Gunn and all involved. "At the end of the day, you...

Get ready, “Pretty Little Liars” fans. The upcoming reboot of the teen mystery-drama from the creators of “Riverdale” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” has cast its new generation of “little liars.”
On Friday, Warner Bros Television announced that Chandler Kinney and Maia Reficco have signed on to top-line “Pretty Liars: Original Sin.” Lisa Soper, who recently directed an episode of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” for Netflix, is also attached to direct the show’s first two episodes.
Kinney most recently starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Zombies 2” and could previously be seen on episodes of Fox’s “Lethal Weapon” series, “American Horror Story: Asylum,” and “Girl Meets World.”
Maia Reficco is currently shooting the Netflix feature “Strangers,” opposite Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke.
The revamped series will exist in the same universe as the hit Freeform show but focus on a new cast of characters in a new town.

Lisa Soper knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the movies but unlike most kids who have dreams of being actors, writers or directors, Soper's passion was to help build the worlds we see on screen.
With a dream and a talent for drawing, Soper found herself in art school followed by a short-lived but ultimately instrumental job as an animator. The day-to-day grind of office work wasn't for her so she took the plunge and a job on a no-budget movie which led to another project and then another and now, a decade later, Soper is the production designer on Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina."

Despite its ever-expanding roster of DC Comics characters, The CW will most likely never get to use its most famous one: Batman.
But with “Batwoman,” the CW is coming as close as it possibly can to The Caped Crusader, who remains off-limits for the foreseeable future. So the creative team behind the show decided to lean into that aspect: What is Gotham City without the Dark Knight?
But unlike “Gotham,” the Fox series that depicts the city before Bruce Wayne ever puts on his cape and cowl, “Batwoman” will see Gotham City after the Dark Knight has left. “It’s a post-Batman Gotham City,” Sarah Schechter, an executive producer for the series, told TheWrap. “What is it like after these heroes leave?”
