Lorenne Clarke, born in Plymouth, Massachusetts ("America's Hometown"), discovered her divine, yet very necessary escape in film at a very young age. She often found herself feeling lost in an endless winter, struggling to bloom amid the harsh decay.
When hearing familiar and friendly voices on television, a sense of comfort was immediately injected into Lorenne. She was able to immerse herself in this imaginary refuge. Acting and filmmaking would be her calling!
Lorenne received her education from Harvard University (completing the Advanced Theatre Training Program with Jeremy Wollaston Geidt-the founding member of both the American Repertory Theater and the Yale Repertory Theatre ) and the University of Massachusetts Boston where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
In addition to working in the fields of Exceptional Student and Theatre/Film Education (15+ years), Lorenne is the Co-Creator/Writer of the TV Pilot/Episodic Series "Whiskey and the Firecracker" (WATF). WATF is the Second Place Winner and Finalist in the "Television Spec Category" for the Cannes Screenplay Contest (2015 & 2016). Additionally, WATF has been either officially selected or a finalist in the 2017 Stage 32 2nd Annual TV Writing Contest, 2017 Film & Script Showcase, and the 2017 Sunset Film Festival Los Angeles.
Lorenne maintains a true burning passion for honest storytelling that immortalizes the hope of humanity. She currently has an autobiographical TV series in development.
