The Storybook Killer horror short tells the story of four friends who reunite looking for answers about the mysterious disappearance of one of their brothers that took place years before at an abandoned fairytale theme park. The four friends end up being killed off one by one over the course of the story.
The short was directed by Andrew Vallentine, and it stars Ricky Dillon, Ashley Argota, Meg DeAngelis, Josh Leyva, and Cody Saintgnue.
This is a fun horror short that I think some of you will enjoy, and the abandoned fairytale theme park is really a nice touch that added some decent production value and an eerie vibe. It was actually shot on location at the Enchanted Forest theme park in Oregon.

A camping trip for newlyweds Mike and Wit takes an unexpected turn when they are joined by Mike’s brother, Sean, a former marine. When their tent is stolen overnight and they are left without food or water, the brothers turn on each other. A random act of violence becomes a game of cat and mouse. A weekend in the woods becomes survival of the fittest. A young couple must survive their failing marriage. An Iraq veteran must survive his violent past. And Wit must outsmart the predators hunting their prey.
Right off the bat, the first thing that strikes you about Preservation is the soundtrack. From the opening tune, the soundtrack is very reminiscent of early the work of John Carpenter – very much synth driven with that slightly off-key, off-kilter...

The big question from Teen Wolf this season is Who Is the Benefactor? The tag lines generally set up the season, but don’t always lead where we think they will. It’s even unclear whether the benefactor is good or bad, although in a world of moral ambiguity about monsters, that probably depends on perspective. Regardless, the team of assassins seems to have pissed off Kate Argent (Jill Wagner), back from the dead, and that never ends well for anyone.
In other news, we have a new lacrosse player in Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), who likes to show off his muscles on Twitter, but is underage, so we’re hoping he stays out of the locker room, even if his skill on the field makes Stiles wonder if there...
