So, I’ve been doing some thinking about re-jiggering my weekly links posts as I think they’re getting somewhat on the tad predictable side. Also, through loosely monitoring what readers are actually clicking on, I need to re-think some things about this series. So, with that in mind, here are a bunch of links that either have nothing to do with underground film or are very loosely connected to the scene. The first two have a very personal connection:
I think many, if not most, of Bad Lit’s readers would really dig my good friend Charles Phoenix, a brilliant performer and comedian who does live shows about retro and contemporary, unique American culture. I’m currently helping him with some web work, so please go check out his site. Make sure to particularly watch some of his amazing Test Kitchen videos that are embedded on the homepage. It’s really great stuff.

They have an excerpt from the film, a press blurb written by Allen Ginsburg, ad mats, behind-the-scenes reminiscences and more.Winnipeg animator Leslie Supnet, whom we love, has totally redesigned her personal filmmaker site into a WordPress blog. Go read it, look at her art, bookmark it and subscribe to its feed.Speaking of redesigns: I don’t know when this happened, but Experimental Cinema has a newer, sleeker look.
