Producer, Super Bowl LI on FOX
Richard Zyontz, a sports television production veteran with more than three decades of experience, marks his 12th Super Bowl overall and fifth as FOX's lead game producer, with Super Bowl LI on FOX.
Zyontz serves as the lead producer for FOX NFL and has worked with the network's lead NFL broadcast team for 14 seasons. He has produced four Super Bowls (XXXIV, XLII, XLV, XLVIII) on FOX and also serves as Coordinating Producer for the Daytona 500 and all FOX NASCAR coverage. Shortly after Super Bowl LI wraps, Zyontz embarks on his 17th season as FOX NASCAR Coordinating Producer, beginning with his 14th season-opening Daytona 500.
Zyontz joined FOX Sports as an original FOX NFL game producer in 1994 and has worked on every major property the network has broadcast. In addition to his NFL assignments, Zyontz has been the coordinating producer for FOX NASCAR since 2001 and was the lead producer for the NHL on FOX from 1995 to 1999.
Prior to joining FOX Sports in 1994, Zyontz spent 16 years at CBS Sports, working on several high-profile events including the Super Bowl, NASCAR races, regular and postseason NBA playoff broadcasts (nine NBA Finals) and numerous NCAA basketball games. "Z," as he affectionately is known, also gained valuable studio experience working on the Emmy Award-winning "The NFL Today" from 1983 to 1985. He joined CBS Sports in 1981.
